Customer perspective
“AI agents are fast becoming a new way people discover software, and we wanted monday.com to lead there early. With our Connector already in customers’ hands, agentdiscoverability.com helped us optimize how Claude understands and recommends it. The results came quickly: more discoverability, more visits to our signup page, and more signups.”

From chatbots to agents
AI platforms are moving from answering questions to completing work. A customer can ask Claude to set up a campaign tracker, coordinate a launch, create an approval workflow or show which milestones are at risk.
Claude can then find a relevant Connector, present it to the customer and use it to complete the task. The customer may discover and start using a product without searching the web or visiting an app marketplace first.

You do not optimize with AEO. You optimize with ATO.
The Connector picker creates a new discovery layer: a high-intent surface where relevant products can be found, compared and selected when a customer is ready to act.
Claude does not begin with every available Connector. For each request, it searches for relevant tools, decides which should advance into the Connector picker and determines the order in which they appear.
Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) improves how accurately a company is represented, cited and recommended when an AI system answers a question. It does not improve whether an agent finds, ranks or picks a callable product.
Agent Tool Optimization (ATO), as coined by AgentDiscoverability.com, improves whether a product’s callable tools are found, picked and positioned when an AI agent decides how to fulfil a customer’s intent.
AEO wins the citation.
AEO helps information get found, trusted and cited in an answer.
ATO wins the pick.
ATO helps a callable Integration get discovered, ranked and picked.
Where AgentDiscoverability.com comes in
AgentDiscoverability.com measures and improves this discovery layer. We track how products perform across the customer intents that matter, record which Connectors agents find, select and position, and identify the changes most likely to improve those outcomes.

The opportunity for monday.com
monday.com is the AI workspace where people and agents drive business results together. Its Claude Connector brings those capabilities into the conversation: Claude can find boards, create and update items, assign owners, set timelines, post updates and build workflows. It can also set up and work alongside monday.com agents, so the work keeps moving after the conversation ends. All of this happens without sending the customer to another app.
The Connector could already handle many requests. But when people described the work they wanted done, such as setting up a campaign tracker, coordinating a launch, tracking milestones or managing approvals, Claude did not consistently prioritize monday.com in its Connector search and picker.
The opportunity was to help Claude prioritize monday.com for more relevant requests, putting its Connector in front of more prospective customers and giving more of them a path to sign up and use it.
How we improved monday.com’s agent discoverability
We applied our four-stage Agent Tool Optimization cycle: Measure, Diagnose, Improve and Prove. Each proven result becomes the baseline for the next cycle.

- 01Measure
Establish a reliable baseline
We worked with monday.com to define a fixed set of commercially important customer intents: the work people might ask Claude to help them complete using monday.com. We tested them daily under consistent conditions to create a like-for-like baseline.
- 02Diagnose
Pinpoint where discovery is being lost
We tracked whether monday.com was found in Connector search, selected for the picker and where it appeared. Looking at those signals by intent showed where Claude was overlooking a relevant product.
- 03Improve
Make the capabilities legible to Claude
Our platform identified the priority changes most likely to improve how Claude discovered and selected monday.com. We worked alongside the monday.com team to implement those changes and coordinate releases.
- 04Prove
Remeasure the discovery lift
We reran the same fixed intents against the original baseline and looked for sustained improvement. We then compared those discovery gains with visits and completed signups in monday.com’s own Connector funnel.
As monday.com became more discoverable, Connector signups more than doubled
The results show the same upward pattern across discovery, visits and signups.
Claude presented monday.com more consistently
Across the customer intents monday.com prioritized, its appearance rate in the Connector picker increased from 24.6% to 84.2%. The improvement held across the six-day post-change measurement window, with monday.com appearing in more than 80% of valid pickers each day.

Signups grew faster than visits on both desktop and mobile. That pattern is consistent with more relevant traffic, not merely broader reach.
Taken together, the results show a consistent pattern across the funnel. During the engagement, Claude presented monday.com more consistently for relevant customer needs, Connector traffic increased, and completed signups more than doubled.
Building a Connector makes a product available to an agent. Optimizing its discovery surface helps the agent know when to find, present and use it.
