Caprail

Create a site for the signed-in Caprail user and return what this chat needs to record events. Requires the existing OAuth consent (GitHub or Google). An ingest key cannot call this. Arguments are name and domain only; the site is owned by the caller. The result includes site.id, the cap_live key for that site only, and the exact POST to /api/ingest (https://caprail.dev/api/ingest in production). The body is timestamp, method, and path, plus raw userAgent, referrer, and utmSource when the request has them. Caprail classifies the visit. Do not send your own classification. That POST records a request. A pageview is a separate event on the same URL with kind pageview (recordPageview); then call traffic_explorer. Write that POST in the host codebase. Caprail does not open a pull request, install middleware, or add a setup page. Then POST one test request: a 202 with accepted 1 means it was stored. Call traffic_explorer with the site id and a time window. The key is only in this result, not in list_sites. This tool has no card.

list_sites

Render a metric, comparison, trend, breakdown, funnel, or multi-series chart in ChatGPT using Caprail's predefined design. Presentation only: retrieve and calculate data first using available tools, then pass the final values. Never invent observations or derive ordered conversions from independent page totals. Sources are attribution supplied by the caller, not independently verified by this renderer. Include source names, time window, units and any estimation/partial-data caveats in note. For Caprail traffic, use traffic_explorer to retrieve data first; keep distinct visitor totals, never sum daily visitor counts. For multiple sources, align time windows, timezone, units and metric definitions upstream. Overlaid series must share one unit and align with labels; null means missing, zero means observed zero. A funnel requires non-increasing integer counts from one cohort completing ordered steps, and a note defining that cohort. Use minimal presentation; users can ask follow-up questions in chat. No retrieval, persistence or external requests occur in this tool.

render_analytics

Choose a view that answers the question: overview for general totals (default), metric for one number, comparison for change versus the previous period, trend for a minimal line chart of one metric, breakdown for ranked pages/countries/sources/devices/browsers/providers/referrers, explorer for broad investigations or charts comparing periods. A line-chart request must use view=trend and the requested metric, not overview or explorer. For example, 'show me a line chart for this week's agentic visitors' uses view=trend, metric=agents and this week's date window in the user's timezone; label the result as agentic/chat requests, since agents counts requests, not unique visitors. Choose metric (pageviews, visitors, agents) and dimension for breakdowns. detail controls density: summary for quick answers, full for more rows; if view is omitted, full opens explorer. Users can expand totals and breakdowns with Show details; the minimal trend has no controls, so use explorer when they ask for more in chat; preserve site, dates, timezone and filters on follow-ups. Page Views, estimated Unique Visitors and Agentic/Chat Requests with interactive daily graphs, supporting breakdowns and equal-duration previous-period comparison. Call list_sites first. Filter country, path, source, device, browser, provider or referrer. Explicit human pageviews only; agent requests include fetchers and agent browsers. Training crawlers, search bots, internal and malicious traffic excluded. Visitors deduplicated across the full window; daily visitors are not additive. Missing dimensions shown as Unknown; breakdowns bounded to 100 per dimension.
