CineFlo

Soft-deletes one shot; restorable in CineFlo for 30 days.

delete_shot

Soft-deletes one to-do (todoId) or one to-do list (listId); restorable in CineFlo for 30 days. A deleted list’s tasks move to Uncategorized.

delete_todo

Edits strips on shoot days (times, D/N label, notes, a scene strip's shots and pages), adds or moves breaks (the day must exist) and reorders a day. Takes nothing off the schedule. Times like "9:00 AM" or "18:00" are stored in the user's time format; null clears a field. Days by date (YYYY-MM-DD, user's timezone), strips by stripId; positions are 0-based, default last. Operations apply in order, all or nothing.

edit_schedule_day

Returns the budget as a cost report: accounts, line items, purchase orders (POs) and actuals, with rollups at every level. Amounts are integer cents of the budget currency (150000 = 1,500.00 USD; JPY is also ×100). Categories: atl above the line (story, producers, director, cast), btl below the line (crew, equipment, locations), post, other (G&A). totalInCents excludes fringe; fringeInCents is the payroll fringe from its presets. unassigned = booked to an account but none of its lines.

get_budget

Returns call sheets (daily cast and crew schedules), optionally one sheet or date, with times, locations, notes, scenes as on the stripboard, and the cast, crew and clients called. Addresses require the Locations tab; phone numbers, emails and send history are never returned.

get_callsheets

Returns the project's cast (characters and the cast numbers scenes and call sheets use; #1 usually the lead), crew and clients, with default call, pickup and dismissal times. Contact details and pay rates are never returned.

get_cast_and_crew

Lists diagrams (overhead camera, lighting and blocking layouts drawn in the CineFlo mobile app). The drawing is never returned.

get_diagrams

Lists the project's Files tab in grid order. Only web links a user added include their URL; uploaded and CineFlo-generated files are listed without a link.

get_files

Returns named filming locations and location scouts (recce visits, with notes and a photo count). Photos, video, GPS and weather are never returned.

get_locations

Returns mood boards (visual reference boards whose sections are lookbook chapters); with boardId, also that board's cards in display order. Image cards include only their caption.

get_moodboards

Returns a project's details, the user's role and access per tab, scene and shot counts and the scene list (Scenes & Shots tab) and the first and last shoot dates (Schedule tab).

get_project

Returns one scene by sceneId or number, with its shots; story day is the continuity day (e.g. "D1"). Character names need the Script tab and the linked place the Locations tab; actor names are never returned.

get_scene

Returns screenplay text (action, character cues in capitals, parentheticals, dialogue) for one scene, or up to 40 via sceneNumbers or sceneIds, in the order asked. A scene is cut at a line break near 12,000 characters (truncated: true); a call returns about 60,000 characters in all (see notReturned and unavailable). Requires the project's Script pages switch (scriptPages). Never the title page.

get_scene_text

Returns the stripboard, optionally for a date range: shoot days in date order (YYYY-MM-DD, user's timezone) with their strips (scenes, single shots, breaks) top to bottom. Scene and shot numbers and unscheduled scenes need the Scenes & Shots tab.

get_schedule

Returns the script breakdown, optionally for one scene and/or category. An element is a project-wide item the production needs; a tag is one occurrence in one scene, anchored to a script phrase. Cast elements are characters as scripted ("SARAH") with castNumber (1 = lead).

get_breakdown

Returns a link to CineFlo's script importer, where the user uploads a screenplay (PDF, Final Draft or Fountain) and CineFlo builds scenes, page counts and script pages. No files are accepted here. On a project with a script, the import is a new revision that keeps tagged elements and the previous draft.

get_script_import_link

Returns the current script draft's title-page and revision details ("2nd Blue" is colour blue, cycle 2) and each scene's status against the previous draft (unchanged, changed, new, omitted; absent on a first import). No script text.

get_script_info

Returns 10-minute image links for the given shots’ reference images, for the shot list view, when the project’s Images switch is on.

get_shot_images

The project's shot-planning context as the user gave it. Coverage styles: classic (masters, mediums, singles, inserts), long_takes (oners), handheld (vérité), efficient (fewest setups), stylized (designed frames and moves).

get_shot_planning

Returns a project's or one scene's shots in app order (scenes by number, then drag order), 200 per page. cast holds cast numbers (1 = lead), not names.

get_shots

Returns the to-do board: tasks (open first, then by due date), the lists (departments such as "Camera"; none = Uncategorized) and assignable members. status follows the due date in the user's timezone; week = next 7 days, later includes undated.

get_todos

Lists the projects the user shared with this connection, with access per tab (off, view, edit).

list_projects

Soft-deletes one cast, crew or client member from the project (restorable in CineFlo for 30 days); the person stays in the owner's phonebook. Their cast number becomes free.

delete_cast_or_crew

Renames one diagram; diagrams cannot be deleted here. While the diagram is open in the CineFlo editor, its 20-second autosave can restore the old name.

rename_diagram

Renumbers one scene's shots in their current order in the user's numbering style. Custom names such as PU1 are kept and use no number.

renumber_shots

Sets the order of one crew department as it lists in Contacts and prints on call sheets. roleIds must be every crew member of that department, in the new order.

reorder_crew

Sets the order of one scene's shots; shotIds lists every shot of the scene once. With renumber: true, sequence-numbered shots are renumbered to match; custom names such as PU1 are kept.

reorder_shots

Creates (no elementId) or updates breakdown elements and tags them into scenes, up to 100 elements and 100 tags per call, all or nothing; null clears. A new element matching a name in its category (ignoring case and spaces) reuses it; repeated tags are skipped. Tagging a cast element adds the character to the cast list and its number to the scene's cast, requiring Contacts and Scenes & Shots edit access; scene cast is never removed.

save_breakdown

Creates (no id) or updates budget accounts, line items, purchase orders and actuals, all or nothing; only given fields change, null clears. Amounts are integer cents; dates are YYYY-MM-DD; accountNumber also finds accounts created in the same call. The first save creates the budget with the standard 21-account chart. totalInCents = round(quantity × rateInCents). New POs default to draft; a paid PO can only go back to draft. A locked budget stays editable; edits move revised figures, never the original baseline.

save_budget

Creates (no callSheetId) or edits one call sheet. A new sheet for date (default today) is filled from that day's stripboard, with the cast its scenes need and "Day X of Y". On edit only given fields change, given lists replace current ones, and a new date re-syncs scenes and cast, keeping hand-added entries. Addresses require the Locations tab. Never sends the sheet or renders its PDF.

save_callsheet

Adds (no roleId) or edits cast, crew and clients, all or nothing; only given fields change and "" clears a time. Cast numbers are unique among the cast; a changed number also moves on the scenes the character is tagged in, and two can be swapped in one call. Contact details cannot be set.

save_cast_and_crew

Adds web links to the project's Files tab (no fileId; title and url required) or edits any file (with fileId), including a link's URL, all or nothing; "" clears notes. No files are uploaded.

save_files

Creates (no id) or edits named locations and location scouts, up to 100 items per call, all or nothing; only given fields change, "" clears text and dates. Locations save first, so a scout can link by locationName to one created in the same call. Photos, video, GPS and weather cannot be set.

save_locations

Creates (no boardId) or edits one mood board. New boards get the subject's default sections (project: Tone, Palette, Lighting, Camera). On edit, sections is the full ordered list; a section left out is deleted with its cards; an empty description clears it. The owner's free plan allows one board per project.

save_moodboard

Creates note, link and palette cards (no cardId) or edits cards, all or nothing. Any card can change caption ("" clears), section, order, linked scenes and favorite; note text and palette colours change on their own kinds. Image cards cannot be created.

save_moodboard_cards

Creates (no sceneId) or updates scenes, all or nothing; only given fields change. Scene numbers (max 8 characters) are unique in the project, case-insensitive. Cast numbers must be on the numbered cast list when the project has one. Renumbering a scene linked to an imported script returns a warning.

save_scenes

Adds or edits shoot days, all or nothing. A date holds one shoot day; "Day X of Y" follows date order; "" clears a title, unit or notes. Moving a day moves its scenes' shoot dates, which requires Scenes & Shots edit access.

save_shoot_days

Sets the project's shot-planning context; only given fields change, null clears one. cameraBodies, lenses and aspectRatio are free text (e.g. "ARRI Alexa 35", "Cooke S4 primes 18–100mm", "2.39:1"). Given only projectId, an app that can show forms asks the user for the answers (known ones filled in) and saves them; elsewhere it changes nothing.

save_shot_planning

Creates (no shotId) or updates shots, all or nothing; only given fields change, "" clears text. New shots go last in their scene; shots cannot change scene. cast holds cast numbers (1 = lead), from the numbered cast list when there is one. Off-list values are kept as custom. Up to four cameras (A-D) per shot; composition, mood, rig, the camera package, VFX (lensHeight, subjectDistance, vfxNotes) and On the Day (takeCount, circleTake, rollCardNumber) are per camera. Bare numbers get the app's units (mm, T, fps, °, K).

save_shots

Creates (no id) or updates to-dos and lists, all or nothing; only given fields change, null clears. New to-dos require a title and go last. Email addresses are refused.
