Description
Compare every federal repayment plan a loan can elect, estimate a Repayment Assistance Plan (RAP) payment, and compare filing jointly against filing separately, using the same engine Finology Software advisors use for client plans. Figures follow the current federal rules, including the changes in effect since July 1, 2026, and each result states the rule version and date it used. Plans a borrower cannot elect are listed with the rule that excludes them. Advisors with a Finology Software account can link it to list their clients, run a projection on a client's imported federal loan file, and chart each plan's balance year by year. Client names can be withheld and replaced with initials. Results are estimates for education, not financial, legal or tax advice.

Read the methodologyHow do I improve Finology Software's ChatGPT Plugin discoverability?
The levers are the listing surface agents actually read: names, descriptions, keywords, tool metadata, and registry health. Which lever matters depends on where discovery breaks, which is what continuous measurement shows.
