PurpleBee

Records a shared expense in an event and splits it equally (or between named people). paid_by and split_between take people's names as shown in the event, or "me". PurpleBee only tracks who owes whom; it never moves money.

add_expense

Adds things to bring (kind "item") and to-dos (kind "task") to an event, up to 30 at once. If the organizer asks guests to suggest, guest additions wait for approval.

add_items

Creates a new PurpleBee event with the signed-in person as organizer. Dates are optional. Returns the event link and an invite link to share. Add items and tasks with add_items afterwards.

create_event

Shows one event: date, place, description, who is coming, the items (who brings what, what is still missing) and the tasks.

get_event

Shows an event's shared expenses: the total, each person's balance (positive = is owed, negative = owes) and the fewest payments that settle everyone. Amounts are in the event's main currency. PurpleBee only tracks money; payments happen outside the app.

get_balances

Returns the link to invite people to an event (they open it and join). Only available to people allowed to share it.

get_invite_link

Lists the PurpleBee events the signed-in person organizes or joined (upcoming first, then recent past). Use it to find an event before reading or changing it.

list_my_events

Marks that the signed-in person will bring an item (or do a task), e.g. "I'll bring the water". Quantity defaults to everything still needed.

claim_item

Changes an event's name, dates, place or description. Only the fields you pass change; the old values are replaced and can't be restored automatically, so confirm the change with the person first. Organizers only.

update_event

Changes an item's or task's title, amount, unit, due date or notes. Only the fields you pass change; the old values are replaced and can't be restored automatically, so confirm the change with the person first.
