SMS Manager

Get the current SMS credit balance for the account. Returns the number of credits remaining.

check_balance

Check the delivery status of a previously sent message, using the reference returned by send_sms. Returns a per-status summary and recipient states (read-only).

check_delivery_status

Retrieve one MMS image attachment by media_id (the media_id from a reply's media[] array in list_replies) and return it as an inline image for viewing, plus a short caption. Read-only; only returns attachments on the authenticated account.

download_media

Search the account's saved contacts by name or phone number. Use this to resolve a person's name to their number before sending. Returns matching contacts (read-only).

find_contacts

Get the active members (names and phone numbers) of one contact group, identified by its name or numeric id. Use the returned numbers with send_sms to message a group (read-only).

get_group_members

List the account's contact groups with the number of active members in each. Use before get_group_members or before sending to a named group (read-only).

list_groups

List recent inbound messages that recipients texted back to the account, newest first. Optionally restrict to replies to one message (message_ref or message_id), or filter by a start time (since, ISO8601) or a single sender number. Inbound MMS replies list their attachments in each reply's media[] array ({media_id, url, mime_type}); call download_media(media_id) to fetch an image for viewing (read-only).

list_replies

Send an MMS (picture message) to one or more phone numbers. Provide the image as a media_id (from upload_media, or from uploading a file to /v2/api/media), OR inline as a public https URL / base64 data URL, plus an optional caption. This sends immediately and consumes credits (MMS costs more than SMS) — the client should confirm with the user before calling. Returns a reference, recipient count, estimated cost, and remaining balance.

send_mms

Send an SMS text message to one or more phone numbers. This sends immediately and consumes credits — the client should confirm with the user before calling. Returns a reference, recipient count, segment count, estimated cost, and remaining balance.

send_sms

Get a media_id for an image to send with send_mms. PREFERRED for a file on disk (e.g. in your shell/sandbox): call this tool with NO arguments to get a one-time upload_url, then upload the raw bytes with: curl -T YOUR_IMAGE_FILE "<upload_url>" — no API key, no base64, kept out of your token stream. That returns {"media_id": N}; then call send_mms with that media_id. Alternatively pass the image inline: `data` (a base64 string or data:image/...;base64,... URL) or `url` (a public https URL). Validates the image and returns media_id, type, dimensions, size and the per-message MMS cost; charges nothing; identical re-uploads dedupe. Limits: 1 MB; JPG, PNG or GIF.
