AlertCamp watches fully-booked parks and tells you the moment a cancellation frees something up — a campsite, a cabin, a backcountry permit or a day-use slot. Connect it and your assistant can do the whole job in conversation: find the park, create the alert, and check back on what has opened up. Ask for something like "watch Banff for any two-night weekend in July" and that is enough — no forms, no park IDs, no reservation tabs left open. It covers more than 1,600 parks across Canada and the US: Parks Canada, the provincial systems from British Columbia to Newfoundland, Ontario's conservation authorities, Recreation.gov, and state parks including California, Florida and Michigan. What your assistant can do: • Search parks and read their campgrounds, zones, sites and equipment • Create an alert for a park, a date range and a number of nights • List, edit, pause, resume and delete the alerts on your account • Follow multi-park backcountry routes and day-use time slots • Read the openings your alerts have found An agent acts as you. It inherits your plan and its limits exactly as if you had used the app yourself, and connecting one does not buy anything or change your subscription. It never sees your password, email address, phone number or payment details, and it cannot reach another user's data. You approve each connection inside the AlertCamp app — AlertCamp never asks for a password on a web page — and you can disconnect an agent at any time from Settings, which takes effect immediately. One honest limitation: MCP cannot push, so nothing reaches your assistant on its own. It finds out by checking in, or via a webhook it registers when it creates the alert. Your push and email notifications are unchanged and stay the fastest way to hear — a freed site is often rebooked within minutes. Requires the AlertCamp app (iOS or Android) and an AlertCamp account.
