Description
Every weather tool can tell Claude it'll be 85° with a 40% chance of rain. Anecast answers the questions that actually matter: What's unusual? Today's forecast against the nearest long-record station's normals and records — "8° above average, two shy of the 1987 record" instead of just a number. What changed? Anecast snapshots forecasts several times a day, so it can show the diff: "Saturday's rain chance jumped from 20% to 60% overnight." No other weather source remembers what the forecast said yesterday. Why? The National Weather Service forecaster's own discussion for your exact area — the mechanism, the uncertainty, what they're watching — not a generated guess. What's the record? Averages and extremes for today's date, with the years they were set, from stations with up to a century of history. Plus the forecast itself: live conditions, five days out, and the active watches and warnings generic tools omit. (In testing during Hurricane Isaias, a generic weather tool described landfall day as "85% chance of rain." Anecast returned the Hurricane Watch.) Works for any US point, honestly: major cities carry full history and daily editorial notes; anywhere else gets live forecast, alerts, and forecaster reasoning immediately — and asking about a place starts its change-tracking, so coverage deepens exactly where people are curious. Every response says which it's giving you. All data is primary-source NOAA / National Weather Service. All tools are read-only. No account, no setup.

The levers are the listing surface agents actually read: names, descriptions, keywords, tool metadata, and registry health. Which lever matters depends on where discovery breaks, which is what continuous measurement shows.
Where is this profile measured?
This profile uses the geography attached to the latest public registry snapshot: US. Locale tags are intentionally omitted.
