Find Research

Find Research gives Claude a librarian’s toolkit for the scholarly literature. Ask in plain language and Claude searches OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, Crossref and arXiv in parallel, merges duplicates and ranks papers by agreement between sources. Every result comes with a DOI or a source link, so the references Claude gives you are real papers you can open and cite. Tools: • search_papers: search by topic with year range, open-access-only and sort (relevance, citations, date). • get_paper: full details for a DOI, arXiv ID, PMID or link: abstract, authors, venue, citation count, identifiers. • find_open_access: finds a legal free copy through Unpaywall and the indexed sources, or says that none is known. • format_citation: APA, MLA, Chicago, BibTeX or GOST from source metadata. • get_usage: your plan and remaining searches. All tools are read-only and use only legal, public scholarly sources; Find Research never links to shadow libraries. Search queries are sent to the databases from our server without your identity, and we do not keep a search history. Requires a Find Research subscription (Pro or Max) with a 3-day free trial.
