Meliorra connects travelers with Japan's small, high-end ryokan and hotels — properties that rarely appear on global booking sites. Search in natural language, compare rooms and rates, and send a booking request directly to the property. The hotel approves the request (some properties confirm instantly against live channel-manager inventory), and the traveler is notified by email in their language (Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese, French). No payment is processed through the connector — guests pay the hotel directly after confirmation, so no financial transaction occurs inside Claude. Quotes show an itemised estimate (room, service charge, taxes, child rates) where the property has declared them, together with its cancellation policy. Travelers earn a Meliorra member rank from completed stays (Guest / Regular / Patron / Connoisseur). Perks are in-stay courtesies that each property chooses to offer by rank — for example a welcome drink or late check-out. They are not discounts or payments, no points or money are handled by the connector, and ranks apply only to travelers verified through the OAuth flow. Fictional demo properties, provided so the booking flow can be tried end to end, are always labelled demo and ranked below real properties. Some search results are properties that have not joined Meliorra yet. These are clearly labelled unclaimed, are sourced only from the property's own official website, cannot be booked through the connector, and point the traveler to the official site instead. For accommodation owners, the same connector reports direct-booking performance (recovered revenue, OTA-fee savings) via a dedicated read-only tool.
