OpenRegister gives Claude direct access to official company data from commercial registers and public filings, covering millions of companies. Ask Claude to find a company by name, register number, city, or industry and it returns structured data: legal name, legal form, registered address, register court and number, status, and management. From there it can pull financial statements, current and historical shareholders, ultimate beneficial owners, holdings, insolvency proceedings, people and their roles across companies, and official register documents. Typical uses include due diligence and KYC checks, sales and lead research, verifying counterparties before signing, monitoring competitors, and enriching CRM records with register data. The connector exposes two read-only tools. One runs queries against the OpenRegister API through the official TypeScript SDK; the other searches the API documentation so Claude can find the right endpoint and parameters before querying. Write operations are not available through the connector. You need an OpenRegister account and API key. The free plan includes 500 credits per month; search costs 1 credit and most detail lookups cost 10.
