AI Passport

Create a normal-memory proposal in the owner's private inbox. It is not cross-app readable until the owner approves it. Use this for normal durable context; use remember with sensitivity='protected' for sensitive PII.

propose_memory

Retrieve the user's saved context AND live data from their connected apps (calendar, documents, tasks, code, notes, meetings) in one call. Call proactively when earlier context helps. Use passport_status to learn what is enabled. Name governed memory categories. For live data, pass connectors with one exact data category per entry; its parameter description lists the available sources and categories. Use limit to cap rows. Connector entries may include ISO time_min/time_max. structured=true adds untrusted connector fields in structuredContent. Return approval links when this app needs a pass; the owner chooses its duration. Retry temporary custody failures. Only ask the owner to unlock when explicitly required. Partner workspaces: declare each exact UUID in workspace_partner_ids; each has its own pass.

recall

Persist context to the user's AI Passport, a portable memory shared across their AI apps. Call this (do not just acknowledge it in chat) when the user asks to remember/save/note/don't-forget or shares a durable preference, decision, name, codeword, project, or goal. It is the user's own memory, so saving is expected. For sensitive personal details the user asks you to keep (for example a birth date), set sensitivity='protected' and give a short non-sensitive `label`: protected items are vaulted and require the user's explicit, per-request approval before any app, including this one, can read them back. Never store a payment card number, private key, API secret or password in AI Passport; the server rejects them in both normal and protected memory.
