Ambiguous Workspace

Add a new tab to a sheet. Auto-generates the name if not provided.

Add a new slide to an existing presentation. Provide the slide as a JSON object with layout, background, and elements. Each element has a type (text, image, shape, table, video, group), position (x, y), size (w, h), and type-specific properties. IMPORTANT: Create SEPARATE text elements for each visual block (title, each bullet point, each paragraph). Do NOT put multiple lines or bullet points in a single text element — create one element per line with proper positioning. Use bullet character '•' instead of markdown '*' or '-'. Set fontSize and fontWeight per element for visual hierarchy. If the user is currently viewing a presentation, use the presentation ID from the page context.

Link a master slide to a specific slide by 0-based index. The slide stores a by-reference link, retains its existing elements as child-owned content, and clears prior master-element override markers. Current master elements inherit at render time and future master edits flow through automatically.

Create a new task by applying a template's defaults. The template pre-fills status, priority, estimate, assignee, description, and labels. Override any field by passing it explicitly. Title is always required.

Request body matches the `AssistantChatRequest` schema (see Schemas section): `message` is required; `context` and `history` are optional with safe defaults (`{}` and `[]`) — the minimum valid payload is `{"message": "..."}`. Type/required validation lives in `validateChatRequest` (services/assistant.ts) so existing AssistantError messages stay byte-identical; the wired `ChatRequestBody` adds only unknown-key rejection. Returns the resolved assistant response + tool-call trace.

assistant_chat

Transcribe an audio recording to text via OpenAI Whisper. Accepts a `multipart/form-data` body with an `audio` file field (mp3, mp4, mpeg, mpga, m4a, wav, webm; max 25 MB) plus optional `language` and `prompt` text fields. Returns the cleaned transcript, duration in seconds, and detected language. Use when the user records voice input (`Cmd+Shift+V` voice dictation, mobile microphone, meeting capture) and wants the spoken text turned into a transcript that can be edited, summarized, or assigned as a task. Per-minute vendor cost: 3 actions per `ceil(duration_seconds / 60)` minutes (Whisper). Direct-UI callers and external coworkers pay vendor cost only; SPEAR pays vendor cost + 1 LLM cost per call.

audio_transcribe

Return the current authenticated user's profile (works with both JWT and API-key auth). needs_workspace_setup: true indicates the account has no workspace yet.
