Amy Food Journal

Use this only when the user explicitly asks to delete one specific food item from their private Amy journal. Refresh the date first and prefer its opaque item_ref. Never use it to erase all food history, an account, or data across multiple days.

delete_food_item

Use this when the user explicitly asks to correct one existing Amy food item. Refresh the date with list_food_entries first and prefer its opaque item_ref. This overwrites the selected private journal item and recalculates its nutrition.

edit_food_item

Use this when the user asks about their Amy nutrition goals, timezone, unit preferences, water goal, or high-level activity and goal context. It does not return email, birthday, age, sex, height, current weight, target weight, account flags, medical circumstances, BMR, TDEE, or audit timestamps.

get_profile

Use this when the user asks for nutrition totals, goals, or foods for one day in their Amy journal. Returns only the requested day's journal content, nutrition totals, and goals. For a follow-up edit, merge, or deletion, call list_food_entries to obtain fresh opaque item references.

get_nutrition_summary

Use this when the user asks to review or analyze their Amy food journal across a date range. Returns only dates, food names, nutrition values, and opaque item references needed for an explicit follow-up change. It does not return database IDs, notes, confidence values, or audit timestamps.

list_food_entries

Use this only when the user asks to review their recent Amy weight history. Returns date and weight in kilograms only; it does not return record IDs, sources, notes, precise timestamps, or audit metadata.

list_weight_history

Use this when the user explicitly asks to record food or drink in their private Amy journal. One call records one date and up to 12 visible food lines. Keep food_text to food names, amounts, brands, and essential preparation. nutrition_context may contain only portion, preparation, brand, and ingredient details needed for estimation; do not include location, timestamps, account identifiers, medical records, or unrelated notes.

log_food

Use this when the user explicitly asks to combine 2 to 8 existing Amy food lines from the same journal entry without changing their total nutrition. Refresh the date first and prefer item_refs. This replaces the selected private journal lines with one merged line.
