Use this when someone in Australia wants NDIS disability support, aged care at home, or private home care providers in a suburb or postcode, e.g. support workers, personal care, cleaning, nursing, physiotherapy or support coordination. Returns providers that offer the service in that area and accept the funding type. Do not use for medical emergencies, residential aged care homes, equipment hire, jobs, or general questions about how the NDIS or aged care works.

search_providers

Use this when the person asks about one provider returned by search_providers, using its slug. Returns services, areas, registration and review details. Do not use to search for providers.

get_provider

Use this when the person has asked to be contacted by care providers and has agreed to share their contact details. Sends their request to a handful of matched providers, who contact them directly, and returns a link to track replies. Before calling, collect only what you do not already know from the conversation, one short question at a time with tap-style options (who the care is for, then email or phone; first name is optional). Do not show a long form. Then show the consent wording once and get a clear yes. Never include diagnoses, medical conditions, medications or other health information in any field. Do not use for emergencies or to contact a specific named provider only.
