The full catalogue is always browsable with search_leads (the dashboard's All Leads), filtered by the ICP's states and categories from get_icp. Masked, no contacts.

get_thread

Start sending a draft campaign from the customer's mailbox. Two-step: call without confirm to get the exact preview and an approval_token; show the user the recipient count, first subject line, and when sends begin; then call again with approval_token and confirm: true. Requires a connected mailbox and a postal address for the footer (pass postal_address if none is saved). Confirming records that the customer will comply with email laws. Exact retries never launch twice.

launch_campaign

Leads in the customer's CRM with status, latest note, and masked lead fields. Includes per-status counts.

One call that turns a description of what the customer sells into a ready-to-review DRAFT campaign: matches leads, builds a cart, drafts a 3-step sequence, saves the draft, and returns the campaign id, counts, the emails, a first-send estimate, a rendered sample, and a launch approval_token. Nothing is sent. Show the user the preview, then call launch_campaign with the approval_token and confirm: true after they agree.

Send a message to the DayOneLead team about a bug, bad data, billing, or an idea. Include the lead or campaign id when relevant. Limited to 5 per day.

report_issue

Return phone and email for up to 50 specific leads. Each new lead costs one daily credit (200 per day by default, shared with CSV export). Re-revealing a lead the same day is free. The response includes budget with remaining credits and any ids skipped for budget. Do not use this for bulk outreach; create a campaign instead, which uses no credits.

reveal_contacts

Search newly registered businesses across the whole catalogue. Returns business, filing, location, owner, website, AI summary, quality tier, CRM status, and has_phone / has_email flags. Never returns phone or email; use reveal_contacts for those. Page size max 100. Use exclude_in_crm to skip leads already in the CRM and exclude_revealed to skip leads whose contacts were already revealed today. For 'good fits for me', filter by the ICP's states and categories from get_icp; get_daily_picks only covers recent leads.

search_leads

Reply in an existing thread from the customer's mailbox. Two-step: call without confirm to get the rendered reply (from, to, subject, body) and an approval_token; show it to the user; then call again with the unchanged body, the approval_token, and confirm: true. Exact retries never send twice.

send_reply

Add a lead to the CRM or move it: new, working, followup, won, lost. Moving off 'new' stamps last_contacted_at unless you pass one.

set_crm_status

Update the ideal customer profile (owner only). Pass only the fields to change. Next morning's picks use it.

update_icp

Pause an active campaign. Queued sends are cancelled and resume where they left off.
