DealKeep

Given a tool the user is CONSIDERING BUYING (name, or name plus URL), reports whether their library already contains the same or an overlapping tool — the same engine the DealKeep app uses to block duplicate purchases (exact URL, normalized URL, same domain, fuzzy or exact title). Returns the verdict with the matching owned tool(s) and match type. Call this before any "should I buy X" decision. For general browsing of what the user owns, prefer search_my_tools.

check_duplicate

The DealKeep founder-tracker: which of the user's owned tools are linked to failed or at-risk lifetime deals (shut-down products, unresponsive founders), with match confidence and the failed product's name/marketplace/status. Pass tool_id to check one owned tool; omit it to list every active risk. Call this for "is X still safe?", "any of my tools at risk?", or before recommending the user rely on an owned tool long-term.

founder_risk

Full detail for ONE owned tool by its tool_id (from search_my_tools or list_deals): name, source (AppSumo or manual), status/redemption state, price paid, purchase date, refund and redemption deadlines, category, tags, and the user's own notes. Call this when the user asks about a specific tool they own. If you only have a name, resolve it with search_my_tools first.

get_license

Paginated list of ALL tools/deals the user owns, newest first (same ordering as the DealKeep dashboard). Optional filters: source ("appsumo" or "manual") and status (substring match, e.g. "redeemed", "purchased", "refunded"). Returns one compact line per tool plus a next-page cursor. Call this for overviews ("what do I own?", "list my AppSumo deals") AND for broad purpose/theme questions ("what do I own for LinkedIn?") — page through all results and judge relevance from the tool names yourself, because search_my_tools is keyword-only and misses tools whose purpose is not written in their stored text. Then get_license for depth on one item. For lookups where the query words likely appear in the tool name or category ("email", "SEO"), search_my_tools is faster.

list_deals

Health check. Returns a fixed string.

ping

Two-layer search across every tool and license the user owns. Layer 1 is KEYWORD (name, category, tags, and AI-generated descriptions where available); layer 2 is SEMANTIC — an embedding match against AI descriptions of what each tool does, so "linkedin outreach" can find a tool named "Sendpilot". Semantic coverage grows as the catalog enrichment backfills; tools without a description yet are only keyword-findable. Results label which layer matched and never present fragment coincidences as answers. Returns matching tools with id, category, status, source, price, and deadlines. Call this to find tools by name or purpose, or to find a tool_id for get_license. For an EXHAUSTIVE purpose audit ("everything I own for X"), also page through list_deals and judge the names yourself — enrichment may not cover every tool yet. For a strict "do I already own something like X before I buy it" check, prefer check_duplicate.
