Direkto

Searches providers in the Direkto catalogue by text, category and attributes. Each result states in `match_reason` which words it matched. `category` is a CODE, not the human-readable name: take the value from the `category` field of an earlier result, for example `print_design`. The readable name is in the provider description. `country` is a two-letter ISO country code (`NL`, `BE`, `DE`); `city` is the town as the provider spells it. Omit them to search without a location filter: there is NO default country.

search_providers

States whether a product is available and from when: stock, delivery days with their cut-off, or lead time in working days. All times are the provider's (Europe/Amsterdam). With `rule_type: "none"` the provider has recorded nothing and `available` is ABSENT; say that it is unknown and do not invent a yes or no.

check_availability

Returns a provider's information by topic: file requirements, delivery, sustainability, terms, contact and frequently asked questions. Returns only what the provider has published itself; administrative details and named contact persons are not part of that.

get_provider_info

Creates an order link to the provider's webshop or order form, with the quantity and chosen options already filled in. Does not place an order: the user completes it at the provider. NOTE: `expires_at` refers to the PRICE INFORMATION in this conversation and NOT to the link, which keeps working. So do not tell the user the link expires. And `post_click_notes` carries NO order deadline; do not state one.

create_order_link

Records a sample request with the provider of a product. Asks for company name and contact details; those are stored ENCRYPTED with a retention period and are not returned in the response. An email to the provider follows; pass on the sentence in `confirmation`, which says whether sending succeeded. Do not promise that the provider will get in touch. Send the SAME `idempotency_key` on every attempt for one request; without it a retry creates a second record.

Confirms that the Direkto server is reachable and which scope this request falls under. Use this tool only to test a connection.

ping

Returns price and delivery options for a product, quantity and options. Each option carries a delivery date, an amount excluding and including VAT, and the order cut-off. All times are the provider's (Europe/Amsterdam). NOTE: providers that calculate prices in their own system do not return a price here yet; that connection is being built.

get_quote
