Description

Write a clear, engaging description that highlights what your plugin does and why people will love it. Focus on concrete user value and avoid exaggerative, misleading claims. This will appear publicly on your plugin’s directory page. Connect ChatGPT directly to your Docs, so drafting and revising documents happens in the same place as the rest of your work: no copying text back and forth between a chat window and a browser tab. Ask for a document by name and it searches your Drive to find it, then reads the contents back as clean markdown you can quote, summarize, translate or rework. Ask for something new and it creates the document and writes the first draft. From there you get real editing, not just appending: insert and replace text anywhere in the document, replace every occurrence of a phrase in one pass, restyle paragraphs and individual runs of text, and turn lists into proper bullets or strip them back out. Tables are fully supported: create them, add or remove rows and columns, merge cells, style rows and cells, and pin header rows so they repeat across pages. So is the document furniture most tools skip: headers, footers, footnotes, page and section breaks, page layout settings, inline images, dates and people chips. Every edit starts by inspecting the document's actual structure, so changes land in the right place instead of clobbering the surrounding text, and related changes are applied together as a single batch rather than one risky rewrite. Word files in your Drive work too: .docx is converted so it can be read and edited like anything else. It fits naturally into recurring document work: updating status reports, filling out templates, cleaning up formatting across a long file, and reworking a draft someone else started.
