DoYouItaly

Resolve a destination name to its DoYouItaly landing page URL(s), and — when pickup/return dates are given — a signed search URL with those dates pre-filled. Use this to give the customer a direct link, or to resolve free-text destination input before calling cheapest_car.

destination_url

Find the cheapest car for a destination and dates, among ALL providers (like the website). Returns the real price at that moment (it can change in later searches), car details (photo, fuel policy, cancellation terms, mileage, pickup location), a link to the full results list and — when a car is found — a direct link to that car's detail page; both links expire together (urls_expire) and car_detail(search_id) regenerates them. NEVER mentions which company provides the car. Use destination_url first if the destination is ambiguous.

cheapest_car

Regenerate the list_url and detail_url (and their shared expiry, urls_expire) for a previous cheapest_car result from its search_id, without running a new search. Use this if the customer comes back to a search you already did, or after urls_expire has passed and you need a fresh pair. Returns 'search_expired' (with list_url if still buildable) once the underlying session is gone.

car_detail

Search DoYouItaly's public FAQ articles and return the most relevant fragments, each with its title and URL when available. Use this before answering a customer's question about policies, required documents, insurance, payment, or how the rental process works.
