get_destination_overview

Use this when someone has picked a specific plan from search_esim_plans and wants the detail behind it: fair-use throttling, whether the allowance is per day, activation model, identity checks, which carriers it roams on, and which other countries it covers. Requires the planId and the destination the plan was found under.

get_esim_plan

Use this when someone asks whether a particular eSIM provider is trustworthy or how wide its coverage is. Returns how many destinations and plans the provider lists, its reader review count and average rating, and how much of the provider we have verified. Takes the providerSlug returned by search_esim_plans.

get_esim_provider

Use this when someone is looking for a travel eSIM or mobile data plan for a specific destination, or wants to compare prices for one. Returns a ranked shortlist with the data allowance, validity, total price in USD and price per GB, plus a link to the full comparison. Covers prepaid travel eSIMs only: not home mobile contracts, not physical SIM cards, and not roaming add-ons sold by a traveller's existing carrier.
