Ask the Found Assistant a question about the business. Supports questions about account balances, transactions, tax info, invoices, and more. Use thread_token from a previous response to continue a conversation.

ask_assistant

List the accounts (deposit sub-accounts, internally called pockets) belonging to a business. Returns each account's token (used as an identifier for other tools), name, type, status, masked account number, and balances. Use list_businesses first to obtain a valid business_token.

list_accounts

List bookkeeping transactions (activities) for a business, ordered newest first. This is the accounting view that matches what the user sees in the Found app: every Found banking activity plus manually entered and imported transactions from outside Found, each with its category, tags, note, and receipt status. Use this for P&L questions, categorization, expense audits, and any question about the business's books. Use list_transactions instead when the user needs the bank-statement view of money that actually moved on Found accounts. Supports a date range and offset-based pagination. amount (in cents) and amount_dollars are always positive; direction is "to" for money in and "from" for money out. source is "found", "external_import", or "manual". needs_receipt is true when a receipt still has to be attached for bookkeeping. Each row is identified by activity_token. Use list_businesses first to obtain a valid business_token.

list_bookkeeping_transactions

List all active businesses the authenticated user has admin access to. Returns each business's unique token (used as an identifier for other tools), name, status, and available account balance (as a formatted dollar string).

list_businesses

List banking transactions for a business: the bank-statement view of real money movement on Found accounts (ledger entries and pocket transfers), ordered oldest first. Use this for reconciliation, statements, and balance auditing. It excludes bookkeeping-only records such as manually entered or imported expenses; use list_bookkeeping_transactions for the full set of categorized business activity. Supports a date range and offset-based pagination. Credits are positive and debits are negative in amount_dollars. Each transaction includes method, direction, counterparty_name, and memo. Use list_businesses first to obtain a valid business_token.

list_transactions

Send feedback about Found's MCP tools or the Found Assistant to the Found team. Use this whenever the user wants to request a feature, report a problem, or share what they were trying to do and could not. Also offer it when a request cannot be completed with the available tools. Include what the user was trying to accomplish and what went wrong. Messages are limited to 4000 characters. Nothing about the business is changed.
