Fueltool

Live delivered heating oil (kerosene) prices from independent local suppliers that deliver to a UK postcode, cheapest first, from Fueltool.co.uk. Each quote gives the total including 5% VAT, the pence per litre before VAT and the delivery date. Also returns order_url, a Fueltool page that opens on these same prices, ready to order; no card details are taken online, the chosen supplier phones to take payment. Supplier names are not included. covered = false means no Fueltool supplier delivers there yet. Use for questions like: how much is 1,000 litres of heating oil delivered to CH7 1LA?

get_heating_oil_quotes

Prepares a Fueltool heating oil order for one of the quotes from get_heating_oil_quotes and returns order_link, a link to Fueltool's order page with that quote ready. The person types their name, contact details and delivery address on that page, checks everything and presses Confirm; this tool does not place the order. The chosen supplier then phones them to take payment. It needs the full delivery postcode, the litres (500 to 2,000) and the quote's rank. The price is checked again when the page opens. The link works for 24 hours.

start_heating_oil_order

Fueltool's UK average heating oil (standard kerosene) price today, in pence per litre before VAT, for an order of 500 to 2,000 litres (1,000 unless another size is given), with the change over the last week and month and a daily history. Suppliers price by order size, so smaller orders cost more per litre. It is a national average across Fueltool's supplier listings, not a price for any address: for a real delivered price use get_heating_oil_quotes.
