Listing scans at most 2,000 published repository handles within a 10-second archive deadline; truncated with repository_scan_cap means visible repositories may be missing and offset cannot recover them. A listed repository can still have no current documents after an incomplete build. For empty pages, check offset, total, and truncation before concluding none are reachable; a disabled knowledge base returns an error instead. Read source code when no knowledge base is reachable.

Each comment exposes isGreptileComment rather than sourceType, plus stored addressed state, optional extracted suggestion text, linked custom context, and citations. This tool has no pagination or result limit. Date strings that cannot be parsed are ignored, so supply valid ISO 8601 instants.

Results have source "pr" or "headless", sourceType "greptile", codeReviewId, optional mergeRequest, and optional extracted suggestion. There is no offset; limit bounds the database candidates and team filtering can make the returned page shorter. If empty, broaden query, include addressed comments, or remove the date bound.

Search one repository's current knowledge base for a case-insensitive substring when you know the term, symbol, endpoint, or convention to investigate. Returns repository identity, query, pinned sectionVersions, matching document results with up to 3 lowercased snippets and line numbers per document, total matching documents found, returned, documentsScanned, failure counters when nonzero, and untrusted-content guidance. Search uses a 200-document limit, a 2,097,152-character read budget checked between reads, a 524,288-character searchable prefix per document, and a 15-second work budget. Character counts use UTF-16 code units; in-flight reads can exceed the read budget. The serialized response is capped at 80 KiB. truncated or contentTruncated means absence is not proven. There is no offset or cursor, and limit only caps returned documents; narrow the query or fetch a matching document for exact casing and full context.

Request a new asynchronous Greptile review for an existing GitHub pull request or GitLab merge request. This queues normal review processing, which consumes review credits, persists a review run, and can post or update review feedback on GitHub or GitLab; organization policy may restrict who can trigger it. A success response confirms the webhook accepted the request, not that analysis finished. Returns success, message, repository, and prNumber; poll list_code_reviews and then get_code_review for status and results.
