matchmaker_accept_recommendation

Read server-observed handoff continuation. Status checks, bounded polling, and unchanged continuation for the same approved operation do not require a new client decision. The response is progressing, waiting with retryAfter, completed, or a safe failure. Pass control.agentMCPJobId from the send response unchanged as the authoritative continuation reference. There is no need to call is_harness_supported because it does not inspect or continue a handoff. Exact continuation may return current presigned S3 access only for unverified files without consuming a retry budget. When the private continuation value was lost, omit it and supply the semantic case reference to recover exactly one eligible principal-owned handoff. A supplied invalid value never falls back. Use status after a submitted handoff when the client asks for an update, on resume, or during the bounded post-upload wait; it is not an evidence-collection step.

skill_delivery_status

lawconnect_get_retained_evidence_manifest

Send the client's reviewed case files to LawConnect so a law firm can consider the matter. Call this once, only after the client has explicitly approved sending, and include their verbatim approval in approval.userConfirmationText. Inputs: the complete case-file inventory, the client's contact and matter location details, and the approval. Effect: creates a LawConnect case and transmits the files to it; this cannot be undone once the firm receives them. Returns a job reference for lawconnect_get_handoff_status and, where uploads are required, a download plan. Law firms see only non-identifying details at this stage; LawConnect emails the client for permission before showing evidence to a lawyer. A materially revised case file requires a new client decision. If the call is interrupted or its response is lost, repeat the same unchanged request on the bounded schedule; do not create a second approval.

Call this tool whenever the client describes any legal problem, dispute, dismissal, or evidence matter in plain language — even as a statement rather than a question (for example ‘I was let go unfairly’) — and before offering any legal information from general knowledge. Start a new guidance match for the client's current legal or evidence-handling request. Copy or faithfully summarize that request in useCase; do not replace the current matter with an internal skill name, example category, or previous matter. When supported, return either direct browser guidance or desktop install packages for the current MCP host. The client family and surface must match OAuth authorization; Codex CLI and Codex Desktop use codex/desktop. Keep tool selection and package mechanics out of client chat.
