Description

Maru is a personal finance app for Brazil: you import your bank and credit card statements (OFX, CSV, XLSX or PDF) and Maru keeps every account reconciled with the bank. This plugin lets you use Maru from ChatGPT in plain words. What you can do: - Ask: balances today or on any past date, spending by category, counterparty, account or month, biggest expenses, cashflow, and transactions by account, category, date or description. - Import statements: ask to import one and pick the file (OFX, CSV, XLSX or PDF) in Maru's upload panel. ChatGPT shows what would be imported, which rows match existing ones and which need your decision, then imports it. - Organize: set categories, counterparties, centers and notes, create transactions in cash accounts, planned and recurring ones, and transfers between your accounts. - Manage categories, counterparties, centers and accounts, and reconcile an account with its bank balance. Safeguards: deleting, undoing an import or overwriting a value never happens on the first request. ChatGPT first shows exactly what would change and asks you; only then does it run. Statement rows imported from your bank cannot be deleted or have their amount, date or account changed, as in the app. Limitations: Maru never moves money, and the plugin cannot make payments, change your passphrase, manage members or delete your account. Amounts are in BRL. You choose which Maru organization ChatGPT can use when you connect, and you can disconnect at any time in Maru, which deletes the key that lets the plugin decrypt your data. Privacy: your data stays encrypted on Maru's servers. Maru decrypts only what a request needs, only while handling it, and stores nothing readable. A statement you upload is kept encrypted for at most one hour.
