May or Shall

Retrieve the full text of a result returned by search, by its id. Fetching a document returns its whole text with the lawyer's own marked passages listed first and then wrapped in place, numbered, so you can read the record and see what they singled out at the same time. Fetching a card returns its quote, its note, and the page it came from. Page ids look like page:<documentId>:<n> and carry previous and next ids so you can read on. Also accepts traverse:<matterId> and chronology:<matterId>.

Search everything in this May or Shall account. Results come in two tiers: first the saved cards, which are passages the lawyer chose and typed, then pages of the underlying documents, which cover everything else in the file including material nobody clipped. Read any result in full with fetch.

List the documents uploaded to a matter, with their type, page count and annexure label. Any page can then be read with fetch using page:<documentId>:<n>.

List the litigation matters in this May or Shall account, with how many documents and cards each holds. Call this first to find a matterId.

The matter's chronology, in date order, as assembled from its Date cards. Use for a list of dates, a synopsis, or any narrative that has to be chronologically accurate.

Save a passage into a matter as a new card, keeping its citation. Use when the user asks to keep, note or file something for a matter. Quote the source text exactly in `quote`; put your own summary in `note`.

Search the saved cards in a matter. A card is a passage the lawyer chose and typed (fact, date, admission, case law and so on) that carries its exact quote and its source citation. This is grounded material: prefer it over your own recollection when drafting.

The deemed-admission guard. Returns the paragraphs of the plaint that still lack a specific denial, which under Order VIII Rule 5 CPC risk being treated as admitted. Use this before drafting or reviewing a written statement.
