Cancel a running MyLens job.

cancel_job

Read progress for an existing generation operation or enrichment job. create_visual returns as soon as generation starts; it does not need to time out before this tool can be used. The generation card also polls this tool. Pass operation_id with workspace and storyboard_id, pending_jobs from create_visual, or job_id from an enrichment tool. Structured content includes status, operation-scoped Stories, progress, pending_jobs, and a Dashboard Present URL when the first playable Story exists. That URL is authenticated and does not change sharing. get_job_status is text-only so it does not create another card. Prefer this over a second create_visual when checking progress on an existing operation.

get_job_status

Create or update a personalized MyLens Storyboard from supporting sources and a short creation prompt, preferably under 50 words. Send only explicitly selected, task-relevant sources, not full chat history or unrelated personal data. Do not send payment-card data, protected health information, government identifiers, passwords, API keys, or MFA codes. Sources are persisted in MyLens and processed by its generation providers. Sources remain available for generation, questions, and later edits. Briefly convey explicit user requests. MyLens handles presentation structure, style, and tone from the user's preferences. Do not invent presentation directions or repeat source content or Guide instructions in the prompt. The tool returns when generation starts; the generation card tracks progress. Results include status, pending jobs, source warnings, and an authenticated Dashboard Present URL when available.

create_visual

Expand selected elements of an existing Story; element_ids from get_story are required. Updates the Story's content. Returns results or a resumable job id. Does not change sharing or mount a generation card.

expand_story

Generate an explanation for selected Story elements; element_ids from get_story are required. May replace an existing explanation. Uses the Story's saved sources and optional theme. Returns text and structured results, or a job id to resume with get_job_status. Does not change sharing or mount a generation card.

explain_story

Generate or regenerate a design image for an existing Story. The new image is pinned by default, replacing the active view. Optional design_id retains the existing design's content guide. Returns results or a resumable job id. Does not change sharing or mount a generation card.

generate_story_design

Generate an infographic for selected Story elements; element_ids from get_story are required. May replace an existing infographic. Supports optional style, aspect ratio, and theme. Returns results or a resumable job id without changing sharing or mounting a card.

generate_story_infographic

Generate citations for selected Story elements from the Story's saved sources; element_ids from get_story are required. May replace existing citations. Returns results or a resumable job id without changing sharing or mounting a generation card; this is not an arbitrary web-research tool.

Generate flashcards for selected Story elements; element_ids from get_story are required. May replace the selected deck's content. Returns results or a resumable job id without changing sharing or mounting a generation card.
