Onlinecomponents Search

Authoritative stock, pricing, packaging options, ordering rules, lifecycle status and compliance data for one specific part at onlinecomponents.com. Use this whenever you have an exact manufacturer part number, and always before quoting a price, quantity or lead time to a customer. One call returns everything, including the packaging variants (cut tape, tape and reel, tube) with their own stock, minimum order quantity and price breaks, so quantity-and-packaging questions need no further calls. Returns one of three shapes, distinguishable by their fields: - the full part record, when exactly one part matches; - ambiguous=true with a candidates list, when several manufacturers make this part number and none was supplied. Ask the user which manufacturer they mean, then call again with the manufacturer argument. Do not guess; - found=false, when the part is not in the OLC catalog. Read pricing.pricingType before quoting. "account" means the breaks are this signed-in customer's own contract prices and can be presented as their price. "list" means published list prices: the customer has no special pricing on this part, or did not grant account-pricing access, so do not present them as the customer's own price.

get_part

Search the onlinecomponents.com catalog for electronic components by manufacturer part number (full or partial) or by keyword description, for example "GRM21BR61E106" or "Murata 10uF 25V 0805 capacitor". Use this when you do not have an exact part number, or to find candidates before looking one up in detail. Returns up to 20 compact rows plus totalMatches. The stock and price on each row are indicative only: call get_part before quoting anything to a customer. There is no pagination and no way to list the whole catalog. If totalMatches is much larger than the rows returned, narrow the query or set the manufacturer argument rather than trying to page through results.
