Pasal is shop software for small businesses in Nepal: an online shop, a counter till, orders, stock, khata and bookings in one place. This plugin lets the people who run a Pasal shop ask ChatGPT about their own shop, and try new looks for its storefront. Ask things like "How did sales go today against yesterday?", "What sold best this month?", "What is running low?", "Which orders still need packing?" or "How much is owed on khata?". The answers use the same figures the Pasal dashboard shows, in Nepali rupees, by Nepal days, with months in Bikram Sambat unless you ask for AD. The shop figures are read only. The plugin cannot change orders, stock, prices or money. For the storefront, it can show a new look as a preview link without saving anything. If you allow it, it can also keep looks as drafts (up to 12), compare two or three side by side, publish one, and put back the look from before the last change. Drafts never change what customers see. Publishing and undo do, so ChatGPT asks you first. This needs a separate tick, "Draft, publish and undo looks", when you connect. That box starts off. Before you start: - The shop owner switches it on once, in Settings → AI assistants. - When you connect, Pasal asks you to sign in and say what to allow, for one shop. - Customer names and phone numbers are a separate choice, off unless you tick it. PAN and VAT numbers are never shown. - Each person sees only what their own Pasal permissions allow. - You can take the connection back at any time in Settings → AI assistants.

validate_design_spec
Compare two or three looks against the shop's live look: drafts by id, DesignSpecs, or both. For each: what changes, in plain words, a preview link, and warnings when the template does not offer a setting. Specs alone need a slug and no sign-in; a draft id needs the sign-in. Does not change anything.
compare_designs
Check a DesignSpec and keep it as a named draft for the shop you are signed in to. Never changes the live shop. Up to 12 drafts per shop: a 13th removes the oldest. Saving the same name again updates that draft. Use this to make several looks to compare before anything is published.
save_design_draft
The total customers owe on the shop's khata (credit book) and how many accounts are open. Names, phones and each balance only when the connection was allowed to see customer details. Read only.
get_khata_summary
The shop's draft looks, newest first (the newest 50): id, name, which app made it, when, a short list of what it changes against the live look, and a preview link. Does not change anything.
list_design_drafts
Products on sale whose stock is counted and has run out, or is at 5 or fewer: the same rule as Pasal's Home. Products whose stock is not counted are not listed. Read only.
get_low_stock
Orders still to fulfil, counted by status (Received, Packing, Ready), unpaid orders and their value, and open table bills, from the order board's newest 1000 orders. Customer names only when the connection was allowed to see them. Read only.
get_open_orders
Validate a DesignSpec and return a preview URL. The look lives in the URL hash; the shop is not saved.
preview_design_spec
Make a draft the live look customers see, replacing the current one. Ask the person first and name the draft. The look it replaces is kept, so restore_previous_look can put it back.
publish_design_draft
The live public DesignSpec for a shop slug: only what the public storefront already shows. Does not write.
get_shop_design
Paid sales for a day, week, month or custom range in Nepal time: the total, the number of sales, the average sale, the split by payment method, refunds handed back, and the same figures for the period before. Matches Order takings / Paid orders in Pasal. Read only.
get_sales_summary
Write a validated DesignSpec to the live shop, replacing its current look. Needs the shop's yes on pasal.studio (one shop per yes). Unknown templates are refused. This is the one customers see.
apply_design_spec
Put back the look the live shop wore before its last change (a publish, a save, or a change on the Design tab). Running it again goes one more step back. Ask the person first. The owner's Filter, stock-count and WhatsApp switches stay as they are.
restore_previous_look
What Pasal can wear today: templates, sections, and token lists. Ask this before proposing a DesignSpec.
