Returns the discount coupon including pharmacy name, discounted price, coupon code, and pharmacy processing fields (BIN, PCN, Group ID, Member ID). ■ UI mode: Called automatically by the drug-finder UI when the user taps a pharmacy. Do NOT call it directly — the UI handles this step. ■ CLI mode: Call this after the user selects a pharmacy from get_drug_prices results. Display the coupon details clearly: pharmacy name, discounted price, coupon code, and all pharmacy processing fields (BIN, PCN, Group ID, Member ID). Suggest the user save or screenshot these details for use at the pharmacy counter.

Get available dosage, form, quantity, and NDC options for a drug. Returns a list of options, each containing a unique NDC and a type tag ('Brand' or 'Generic'). Options are sorted with Generic first, then Brand. The default option (from the API) is marked with is_default=true and placed at the top of its section. ■ UI mode: Called automatically by the drug-finder UI when the user selects a drug. Do NOT call it directly — the UI handles this step. ■ CLI mode: Call this after the user selects a drug from search_drug results. Present options grouped by type (Generic first, then Brand). Highlight the default option. Ask the user to select their preferred dosage, form, and quantity. Then call get_drug_prices with the chosen NDC and quantity.

Get pharmacy prices for a specific drug NDC and quantity. Returns a list of pharmacy prices sorted by price ascending, each with pharmacy name, chain, price, and a key for retrieving coupon details. ■ UI mode (interactive panel available): This opens the drug-finder UI at the price comparison view. Tell the user to select a pharmacy in the UI to get their coupon. Do NOT call follow-up tools. ■ CLI mode (text-only terminal): Present the prices to the user as a formatted list. Ask which pharmacy they prefer, then call get_coupon with the selected pharmacy's price key.

Search for a drug by name. ALWAYS call this tool FIRST when a user wants to look up prices or coupons for a specific drug (prescription or OTC) — even if the name seems unambiguous. Returns a list of matching drugs with name, slug, brand_name, and generic_name. ■ UI mode (interactive panel available): After this tool returns, the drug-finder UI is open. Tell the user to use it to browse options and get coupons. Do NOT call follow-up tools. ■ CLI mode (text-only terminal, no UI): Present the results to the user as a numbered list. Ask which drug they want, then call get_drug_options with the selected slug to continue. DO NOT call this tool when the user is: - Asking general medical questions, seeking diagnosis, or health advice - Asking about pharmacy locations, hours, or services - Asking about health insurance coverage, copays, or formulary information - Asking for a drug recommendation or comparison - Asking about supplements or vitamins - Asking about veterinary/pet medications, medical devices, or herbal remedies - Asking about international (non-US) drug pricing
