Steer Astro

Creates an astrological profile with the provided birth details and current location. Called by the widget when user submits the profile form. Requires: name, gender (MALE/FEMALE/OTHER), birth details (date, time, city, country, timezone, latitude, longitude), and current location (city, timezone, latitude, longitude).

createProfile

Opens an editable form pre-populated with the user's current profile data (name, gender, birth details, current location). Use only when the user explicitly asks to edit or change their profile. Do not use for astrology questions.

getProfileForEdit

Returns the user's Vedic birth chart (Kundali) with planetary positions and house system, current Vimsottari Dasha periods, and today's planetary transits mapped to their natal houses.

getBirthChartWithTransit

Returns the Vedic Panchang (daily calendar) for any date at the user's location. Includes tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, sunrise/sunset, auspicious muhurtas, and inauspicious periods (Rahu Kala, Yamaganda, Gulika). Accepts YYYY-MM-DD format, or 'tomorrow'.

getPanchang

Searches for a location by city name and returns coordinates and timezone. Returns up to 15 matching results with city, region, country, latitude, longitude, and timezone.

searchLocation

Displays the profile creation form in the widget. The form collects name, gender, birth details (date, time, location), and current location. Use when the user needs to create a new astrological profile.

showCreateProfileForm

Updates the user's profile with new name, gender, birth details, and current location. Called by the edit profile form widget.
