Trata's deduplicated coverage universe. Each row includes the ticker and how many primary transcripts cover it (passing mentions don't count). Filters: - sector, market_cap tier (micro/small/mid/large/mega). Returns the full matching universe unless limit is set.

list_coverage

List the user's ticker coverage and current stance/status. Returns their full ticker coverage in one call — group the rows yourself instead of calling again. Each row: - ticker / company_name: the covered stock. - status: OPEN (open to calls) or PAUSED (not open to calls). Tickers the user removed are CLOSED and never returned, so never report that they have no closed coverage. - position: their stance — bull, bear, skeptic, or none. - is_high_conviction: they flagged it a high-conviction name. - is_requested: they requested a specific call on it, which is separate from being open to calls. - last_updated_at: when they last changed any of the above. These names are for you, not the user. Answer in their words — "you have a call requested on UBER", "bullish, high conviction", "not open to calls" — and never name a field or quote a raw value back to them, including as an aside explaining how you picked the rows.

list_my_ticker_coverage

Screen Trata's transcripts of anonymous hedge-fund analyst debates by metadata. Each row carries stances, sector, market cap, and return since the call. Use this (not search_transcripts) for "do we have calls on X?", "list a stock's calls", and any filter/count/sort ask. - transcript_id: one call's full rundown. - tickers (+ ticker_match: primary/mentions/any): a list of exchange symbols only (e.g. ["NVDA"] or ["NVDA", "AMD"]) — never company/brand names (Aritzia -> "ATZ.TO", not "ARITZIA"). Always pass a list: one stock is ["NVDA"]; for several stocks, put them all in ONE call's list — do not make a separate call for each stock when the user asked about several. Each returned row includes ticker_match ("primary" or "mentions"), so when using "any" you can tell them apart from that field — do not make a second call just to classify results. - sector, stance, market_cap tier (micro/small/mid/large/mega). - since/until: call date (when the debate happened), same date as in the title. Only when the user is asking about call timing ("this week", "since June") — not "new today" / "just dropped" (those omit dates; newest call_date ≠ published today). Do not invent a past-month window — omit dates to get the full matching set (newest call first). - sort_by: call_date (default, newest first), performance (best return first), or market_cap (largest first). Prefix with "-" to reverse (e.g. -performance = worst first). - include_key_debates: adds the bull/bear summary per row. Always included for a transcript_id rundown. - contributed_only: if true, only returns transcripts you contributed to. Returns the top results plus a total count matching the filters. Market cap and sector are current values, not as of the call date.

list_transcripts

Add, edit, or remove tickers in the user's ticker coverage. Pass one `actions` list; each item is a ticker plus create, update, or close. Mixed stances are separate update items in the same list. status is whether they are open to calls: OPEN = open to calls, PAUSED = not open to calls. "Open to calls on X", "stop calls on X", "pause X" are all this field — set it. Requesting a specific call is a different thing — use request_ticker_call. To cancel one, update with is_requested=false. That leaves the ticker in coverage and does not pause it. is_requested=true is invalid here. A ticker has one stance and one conviction flag. Updating position or is_high_conviction here also updates any open call request on that ticker; never describe a second request stance or conviction. is_high_conviction only applies to a ticker that has a stance. If the user flags conviction without saying bull / bear / skeptic, ask — do not infer one. - create: add. Optional status / position / is_high_conviction can go on this item or a later update of the same ticker. ticker takes a symbol, never a company name — look up the Yahoo Finance symbol first. A symbol outside Trata's ticker directory is rejected with close matches; retry that item with confirm_unlisted=true only after the user confirms the exact symbol. That flag means "this symbol is real but missing from our directory" and cannot force through a name. - update: patch a ticker already in coverage. Requires at least one of status, position, is_high_conviction, is_requested. - close: only symbols the user named. Never expand "all" / "everything" / "my whole coverage" into a list of closes — closing every covered ticker is refused outright, and re-adding does not restore stance or conviction. status: OPEN (open to calls) or PAUSED (not open to calls). Never CLOSED. position: NONE, BULL, BEAR, or SKEPTIC.

manage_my_ticker_coverage

Request a call on one ticker already in the user's coverage. Single ticker only — an ask that names no symbol ("request calls on my ticker coverage") means ask which one, never a batch. The ticker must already be in coverage; add it with manage_my_ticker_coverage first. When is_requested is already true, say the request is already in rather than collecting details for a second one. Only re-send after they ask to change that request's notes or its one-vs-multiple preference. To cancel it instead, update is_requested=false through manage_my_ticker_coverage. A call request uses the ticker's coverage stance and conviction; there is no separate call-request copy. Read their coverage first. If it already has a stance, omit position and keep it. If it has no stance, ask whether they are bull, bear, or skeptic and send position. Reuse an existing conviction flag the same way — omit is_high_conviction unless they are changing it. If they explicitly give a new stance or conviction while requesting, send it — this updates the same fields shown in coverage, including clearing high conviction with false. Ask for the remaining required fields in the same turn: - limit_to_one_call: true for one match only; false permits multiple. - discussion_notes: what they want covered on the call. A choice prompt cannot carry a written answer, so ask it as a sentence in the message alongside the choices and let them type. Never offer it as options and never spend an extra turn on it. Requesting reopens a paused ticker (they become open to calls). This sets is_requested; it is not the same as merely being open to calls.

request_ticker_call

Semantic search over Trata's anonymous hedge-fund analyst debates by what was said — a theme, thesis, or phrase. Returns matching transcripts with excerpts. Not for listing a stock's calls or checking coverage — use list_transcripts for that. If a stock is involved, pass its exchange symbol in ticker (never as words in query). Check match_mode for how results relate to it.
