Each selected dimension determines how the returned search volumes are broken down. Use `dimensions=[None]` for total volumes without a dimension breakdown. To narrow results, call `get_filter_options` and use the returned values in `applied_filters`.

get_available_filters

Retrieves values for up to 5 filter columns, optionally scoped to products. **Required Tool Calling Order:** 1. `get_locations_and_products_overview`: Discover high-level category names. 2. `lookup_location_and_product_ids`: Get the exact numeric `product_ids`. 3. `get_available_filters`: Discover valid filter columns for these IDs. 4. **`get_filter_options` (THIS TOOL)**: Pass filter column names and, when applicable, the same `product_ids`. 5. `get_filtered_data`: Finally, fetch the actual volume/time-series data using these options. **LLM Usage Instructions:** Use selected strings from each list in `options` as values for the matching dimension key in `applied_filters`. These filters narrow the search-volume data requested through `get_filtered_data`; they do not select which dimensions are returned. Dimensions themselves must be discovered with `get_available_filters`; use JSON null for totals, and do not pass option values as dimensions.

get_filter_options

Fetches search volumes, optionally as time series, broken down by selected dimensions. **LLM Usage Instructions:** 1. For a named breakdown, call `get_available_filters` and pass exact returned names to `dimensions`. Common dimensions include: Type (default overview), Brands, Retailers, Specifications (features), Customer segment (audiences), Purpose (use cases), Information (information needs), and Purchase intention (buying intent). Use `dimensions=[None]` for total volumes without a requested dimension breakdown. It can also be combined with named dimensions. 2. To narrow results, call `get_filter_options` and pass selected values through `applied_filters`. Filters restrict data; they do not select output dimensions. 3. Set `include_type_dimension=True` only when an additional product-Type breakdown is requested. 4. Use location/product IDs when relevant. Hierarchy, country, and state grouping default to False. Set `group_by_hierarchy=True` to add industry/category/product group, `group_by_country=True` to add country, or `group_by_state=True` to add state. These switches are independent: state detail can be requested without country. Request state only when the user wants regional detail because it substantially increases output. 5. Inspect `meta.is_truncated`: reaching the row limit means results may be incomplete. If necessary, repeat the request with narrower filters or separate filter subsets. 6. Use `interval="total"` for an aggregate without monthly or yearly date keys. This is independent of `dimensions=[None]`; hierarchy, country, and state grouping still follow their flags.

get_filtered_data

Retrieves a top-level overview of the master hierarchy for Locations and Products (Categories). **LLM Usage Instructions:** 1. Call this tool FIRST to understand the available categories without cluttering the context with IDs. 2. Extract the exact string 'value' (names) from this response. 3. Pass those exact strings into the `lookup_location_and_product_ids` tool to fetch the actual integer IDs.

get_locations_and_products_overview

Retrieves specific IDs from categories using lookup terms. **LLM Usage Instructions:** 1. Call this AFTER using `get_locations_and_products_overview`. 2. Provide an exact string match for `location_lookup` or `product_lookup` based on the overview. 3. Traverse `subOptions` in the response to find specific subcategories or states. 4. When relevant, reuse the integer `location_ids` and `product_ids` in subsequent tools that accept them.
