Mark a single task as done (complete / finish / tick off). A virtual-occurrence id ("<taskId>_yyyyMMdd", from an expanded listing) completes only that single occurrence of the recurring series. To edit other fields use update_task; to remove the task use delete_task. For several tasks at once, bulk_complete_tasks marks them done in a single call.

complete_task

bulk_complete_tasks

Create (add) a single task in a calendar. Give the task a placement or it stays invisible: set "date" (YYYY-MM-DD), "listId" (a someday-list id from list_calendars), or "dtStart" for a recurring base task. To edit an existing task use update_task, mark it done with complete_task, or remove it with delete_task. For several tasks at once, bulk_create_tasks adds them in a single call.

create_task

Create up to 50 tasks in one call — the batch equivalent of create_task, for adding many tasks in a single request. Each task follows the same rules as create_task (Give the task a placement or it stays invisible: set "date" (YYYY-MM-DD), "listId" (a someday-list id from list_calendars), or "dtStart" for a recurring base task.). Returns which items succeeded (with their new ids) and which failed (with the reason).

bulk_create_tasks

Permanently delete (remove) a single task by id. For recurring tasks, updateType selects the series mode: only_this removes a single occurrence (the series keeps skipping that day), this_and_future ends the series from that occurrence on, all_linked deletes every occurrence. A virtual-occurrence id ("<taskId>_yyyyMMdd", from an expanded listing) targets that occurrence. To just mark it done use complete_task; to edit it use update_task. For several tasks at once, bulk_delete_tasks removes them in a single call.

delete_task

bulk_delete_tasks

Fetch a single task by id. To act on it: update_task to edit fields or reschedule / move it, complete_task to mark it done, delete_task to remove it.

get_task

List the calendars the user can access, including their someday-lists (needed to place tasks).

List the user's custom task colors.

list_colors

List (search) the dated tasks in a calendar. Optionally filter by date range. The undated tasks the user keeps in someday-lists are read separately: pass someday: true for every one of them, or listId for a single list (ids from list_calendars) — either way the whole set comes back in one call, without pagination. Asked what is in a someday-list, use that instead of paging the dated tasks. When both dateFrom and dateTo are set (a window of at most 92 days), recurring tasks are automatically expanded into their per-day occurrences — the result then matches what the user sees in the app for those days and is returned in full, without pagination. Computed occurrences have "virtual": true and an id like "<taskId>_yyyyMMdd"; update_task / complete_task / delete_task on such an id affect only that single occurrence. Use the calendarId from list_calendars. To act on what you find: create_task to add, update_task to edit / reschedule / move, complete_task to mark done, delete_task to remove (and their bulk_* variants for many at once).
