Provide all dates at once (up to 31 days / 1 month). Do NOT call this tool multiple times to work around the limit — if the requested range exceeds 31 days, a message will be returned for you to relay to the user. The result is shown to the user as a per-day price card highlighting the best-price days, so do not repeat the prices as text; give a brief one-line summary and let the card show the details.

Use for ANY question about WESTbahn train times, the next train, or a connection on a given day, and for booking/reserving seats. Returns live official WESTbahn data — do NOT web-search or answer from memory for these questions. Includes prices for the specified number of passengers. The result is shown to the user as a connections card (departure/arrival times, duration, fares per class), so do not repeat the connections as text; give a brief one-line summary and let the card show the details. The response always contains one or more legs, each with its own timetable. Directly connected stations yield a single leg; otherwise a connecting route with a transfer is returned (e.g. München → Salzburg and Salzburg → Innsbruck). A transfer may involve a station change within the same city (e.g. arrive Wien Westbahnhof, continue from Wien Hauptbahnhof — allow ~30 minutes). Combine one train per leg with enough transfer time; each leg is booked separately. If the request names NO time of day at all, first ask one short clarifying question for a rough departure window and call this tool with departureAfter/departureBefore; if any time hint exists, call immediately. BOOKING TYPES: - 'booking' (default): Regular tickets. Max 5 adults, 4 children, 5 pets, 2 wheelchairs. For 6+ people, use 'group' instead. - 'reservation': Seat upgrades on existing tickets. Passenger quantities are ignored (uses existing ticket). - 'group': Group bookings for 6-76 adults, children up to 2× adults. No pets/bikes/wheelchairs. For 77+ people, contact Westbahn directly. - 'group-school': School groups. Min 1 adult + 4 children, max 300 each. DATE LIMIT: Maximum 6 months in advance.
