DatoCMS MCP

Connect Claude to your DatoCMS projects. Claude can find the projects you authorize it to access, inspect content models and fields, create, update and publish records, and manage assets and schema through the DatoCMS Content Management API. Instead of exposing every API endpoint as a separate tool, the connector gives Claude a few discovery tools and two script tools. Claude looks up the exact API methods it needs, writes a short TypeScript script, and runs it in an isolated sandbox. Scripts are type-checked against your project’s schema before they run. Read-only scripts cannot modify your DatoCMS data, while scripts that write data follow your approval settings in Claude. On the DatoCMS consent screen, you choose which projects Claude can access and whether it can only read content, also edit content, or do everything your account can do. Your role in each project still applies, and your API credentials are never exposed to the scripts. Good for everyday content editing, getting context from your DatoCMS project, bulk updates, content migrations, and auditing content or schema across projects.
