(Search results already carry a shareable eventUrl, so this is not required just to obtain a link.) Pass the `id` value(s) from search_events results; it accepts multiple IDs and returns details for each that is found ("Found N of M").

get_event_details

Search for local and community events near a place — trivia nights, open mics, karaoke, live music at bars, community gatherings, markets, classes, plus shows and festivals of all sizes. Use this when the user asks "what's going on", "things to do", "events near me", or about a specific kind of outing (e.g. "trivia tonight", "open mic this weekend", "live music near me", "nightlife"). Covers local events that rarely surface in general web search. Search by city/ZIP/coordinates + date range. Each result is a distinct event, not a single date: an event that repeats within the searched dates (weekly trivia, a run of showtimes, a class series) appears once, with its other in-range dates in `otherOccurrences` — up to 5, with `occurrencesInRange` carrying the exact total — and every listed id works with get_event_details. `totalFound` counts occurrences, not rows — each in-range date of a repeating event counts — so it can exceed the number of results returned; `hasMore` is true when more events exist beyond this page. Search a narrower dateRange to focus on a specific date. Calling with just a location returns upcoming events in the default recommended order. Pass natural-language search text via `query` (e.g. "open mic", "karaoke bar") for full-text and semantic matching. To filter by tag, first call get_search_facets, then pass the `code` values from its "Tags" facet group into `tags`; `query` and `tags` may be combined. The response includes interpretedDateRange, interpretedLocation, and interpretedTimezone showing how inputs were resolved, along with facets (the same codes) that can be used to refine follow-up searches. When no results match, `suggestions` contains concrete broader parameters for a retry (e.g., a larger radiusMiles or a wider dateRange).

search_events

Discover available event tag codes near a location. Use this to find out what kinds of events are available (e.g., how many "Trivia" vs "Live Music" vs "Comedy" events). Returns `facets`: a list of groups, each with a `name` and `entries` (each having `code`, `label`, and `count`). Counts are occurrences: an event repeating within the date range counts once per in-range date, matching the totals search_events reports. Pass the `code` values from the "Tags" group into the `tags` parameter of search_events to narrow results. Serves as a first step for both broad discovery queries and specific event-type filtering: the returned codes are machine-readable identifiers (each `label` carries the human-readable name) suited to selecting relevant tags for follow-up search_events calls. Facets reflect the events matching the current location and date range, so a tag only appears when matching events exist. When no events match, `suggestions` contains broader search parameters for a retry.
