Read-only access to the transcripts of public YouTube, TikTok and Instagram videos, so Claude can summarize a video, quote it, compare several, or research a topic across a whole channel without you copying captions by hand. Ask about a video and Claude gets its full text, with timestamps unless you only need the words. When a video has no captions, as with most TikTok and Instagram posts, TranscriptFetch can transcribe the audio instead. What Claude can do with it: - Get the transcript of a YouTube, TikTok or Instagram video, or of a direct audio or video file link. - Search for videos on YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, with YouTube filters for upload date, length and captions. - Find YouTube channels and playlists. - List a YouTube channel's videos, Shorts or live streams, or a TikTok or Instagram profile's posts. - List a YouTube channel's playlists, and the videos in a YouTube or TikTok playlist. - Check your credit balance, which is free. Every tool only reads public content. Nothing is posted, changed or deleted in any account, and no Google Cloud project or YouTube API key is needed. Pricing: a free account includes 50 credits every month. A caption transcript or a page of listing results costs 1 credit, transcribing audio costs 1 credit per started 5 minutes and is billed only when the transcript is delivered, and failed fetches are free. Paid plans start at $5 a month for 1,000 credits.
