Video Hook Check

Video Hook Check looks at how a short video opens (a TikTok, Reel, Short or short ad), usually a draft you're about to post. Upload the file through a private link (the first sound is timed from the file itself), or share a public YouTube or Shorts link, and it reports what happens in the first seconds, with times: when the first sound and the first word come, the opening line word for word, the text on the first frame, the first cut, and when the subject appears. It checks 8 things a strong opening does, says whether the video delivers what its opening promises, and writes three rewritten openings that fit the video: the line to say, the text to put on screen and where to make the first cut.
