Stop a calculation that is queued or running. Use it as soon as a run is no longer wanted, for example one started with the wrong file, lot size or costing environment. Free: a cancelled calculation is never charged, because only a calculation that succeeds uses the quota. Cancelling an assembly also stops its component calculations. A cancelled run cannot be resumed. To price the part again, use quote_part. A calculation that has already finished is returned unchanged. Returns the calculation id, its status and its costing environment.

cancel_calculation

Check this organization's calculation allowance for the current period: included, used and remaining calculations, whether more runs are blocked or billed as overage, the remaining overage budget and whether runs are paused. Use it before starting several billable calculations with upload_and_quote or quote_part. Read-only and free.

check_quota

Compare 2 to 20 calculations by offer price. Use it to choose between designs, materials, lot sizes or costing environments. Two ids return the price and unit-cost difference between them (pair). Three or more return a ranking, cheapest first, with each option's premium over the cheapest (ranking); blocked or unpriced ones are listed last. It flags calculations priced at different lot sizes, in different environments or with different overhead schemes, and never compares across currencies. Read-only and free: it re-prices nothing.

compare_calculations

Explain what a priced calculation costs and why, in one short structured answer. Use it first once a calculation has succeeded. Returns the unit, total and setup cost, the prediction band and confidence, the cost categories, the machine used and the top cost drivers. The drivers show what to change in the design or to challenge in a quote. For the itemised line items, use get_cost_breakdown. For the status of a calculation that is still running, use get_calculation. Read-only and free.

explain_cost

Read one calculation: its status, its inputs and, once it has succeeded, its costed result. Use it to follow a calculation that upload_and_quote or quote_part started until its status is final: succeeded, failed, cancelled, timed_out or blocked (held for quota or billing). While it runs, eta_seconds says how long to wait. Returns the status, the part revision, the costing environment, lot size, material and the result. get_calculation

Get the itemised cost sheet of a calculation as one tree: headline, cost category, operation and feature, with time and cost side by side. Use it when someone needs the line items, for a negotiation, a work plan or a design review. Each line carries its time, its rate and the factor keys that move it, which preview_cost accepts. persona selects the tiers and quantity restates the headline, times and cost tier at another lot size. Also returns the stock the part is bought as, with its scrap and remnant credits. For a short summary, use explain_cost. Read-only and free.

get_cost_breakdown

Get the process plan (Arbeitsplan) of a calculation: the operations in the order they run, each with its work center and cycle time, then the post-processing chain such as welding, heat treatment and coating with what each is charged per part. Also returns the setup, cycle and total time and the machines used. Use it for work preparation, scheduling or to check how the part is made. Machining cost sits with the features, not with the steps. explain_cost ranks the features. Read-only and free.

get_process_plan

Get a link to the ARCNM upload page for the person to open in a browser. Use it when the CAD file is on the person's computer and you cannot send its content, for example in a chat app. The person drops STEP and PDF files on the page, and ARCNM files and prices each part: each part uses one calculation of the quota if it succeeds. The link itself is read-only and free. Returns the url, the time it was issued and the calculations left. Afterwards, list_calculations with created_after set to issued_at finds the new calculations. If you can send the file content, use upload_and_quote instead.

get_upload_link

List this organization's calculations, newest first, each with its status, lot size, unit cost and offer price. Use it to find calculations started outside this conversation, such as the ones a person starts on the upload page (created_after set to the link's issued_at), or to check many at once (ids, up to 500). list_calculations

List the organization's costing environments, newest first. Each one is a set of machines, rates and overheads for a plant, a supplier or a region. Use it to find the environment id to price a part in. Without one, upload_and_quote and quote_part use the organization's default environment. Page with cursor until has_more is false.
