Description

Chatinbox is a shared WhatsApp inbox used by clinics and online shops. This plugin lets the administrator of a firm that already uses Chatinbox ask about the firm's own conversation numbers: how many conversations and customer messages arrived in a period, how many of them were new conversations, how many messages the Chatinbox bot sent, and at which hours of the day customers write most. The plugin is read-only. It returns only counts and dates for the firm that signed in. It never returns customer names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, postal addresses or message text, and it cannot send messages or change anything in Chatinbox. Limits: one request covers at most 92 days. Days are counted in the firm's own time zone. Messages written by staff are not counted. Days before the firm's first recorded day are reported as "no data", not as zero. Sign-in: a Chatinbox firm administrator signs in with the firm code, user name and password used for the Chatinbox panel. Only a firm administrator can connect the firm.

Use group_by='day' for a daily trend, 'hour_of_day' to find the busiest hours, 'total' for one summary. Defaults to the last 7 days including today. Any past period from 2000-01-01 on may be requested: set both from_date and to_date. One call covers at most 92 consecutive days; this limits the length of one request, not how far back it may go, so split a longer period into several calls. Days before the firm's first recorded day come back as has_data=false (no data, not zero) together with first_recorded_day, so call the tool for old periods too. Staff-written messages are not counted.
