get_my_budgets

get_my_insights

Returns your tracked debts (manual entries plus Plaid-linked credit cards and loans), ordered highest-APR first, with per-debt balance, APR, and minimum payment, plus totals. Use this when the user asks what they owe, their debt balances or interest rates, or which debt to tackle first. Do not use for general debt education, debt settlement, credit repair, credit-score questions, or lending/refinance eligibility. Read-only; ClarityTrack cannot move money.

get_debt_inventory

Compares the avalanche (highest-APR first) and snowball (smallest-balance first) payoff strategies using the user's actual debts: months to payoff, total interest paid, interest savings, and a recommended strategy with rationale. Use this when the user asks how to pay off debt faster, which strategy saves more, or avalanche vs snowball on their real numbers. Numbers are computed server-side, are exact, and reconcile with the ClarityTrack app. Do not use for debt settlement, credit repair, credit-score, or lending eligibility. Educational projection only; no payment is executed.

compare_debt_payoff_scenarios

Returns a synthesized financial snapshot: net worth, month-to-date spend vs budget, and active goals. Use this for 'how am I doing?' questions. Figures come back pre-aggregated as chart-ready series, so plotting them needs no client-side math.

get_my_financial_summary

The one-call monthly dashboard: calculation-complete summary cards (net worth, month-to-date spend, budget status, goals), spending by category, budget variance, recent Clarity insights, coverage and freshness notes, plus a render_spec field carrying ClarityTrack's own layout and styling metadata for the dashboard. Prefer this over combining other tools for any 'show me my month' or dashboard request. Its figures are final, server-computed values.

get_my_monthly_dashboard

Returns your recent transactions. Accepts optional limit (max 100, default 50), offset, and since (ISO date YYYY-MM-DD). For spending-by-category totals use get_my_spending_by_category instead of summing these rows.

list_my_transactions

Returns deterministic, server-computed spending totals grouped by category for a date window (defaults to month-to-date). Totals are exact and reconcile with get_my_financial_summary's mtd_spend. Use this for 'where is my money going' and category-breakdown questions instead of summing transactions yourself. Returns category labels paired with exact numeric totals, already sorted and pre-aggregated as a chart-ready series.
