Kash

Per-month cashflow summaries for a RANGE of months in ONE call: for each month, total income, total expenses, net, savings rate, transaction count, expenseByFamily breakdown, savingsOutflow and transferOutflow — plus a totals roll-up over the range. ALWAYS use this single call (never chain kash_get_monthly_summary month by month, never page kash_list_transactions) when the user asks for an evolution, a trend, a month-by-month comparison, a chart/histogram, or anything like 'since January' / 'this year'. Months with no transactions are returned zero-filled, so the series is always complete and chart-ready. Optional categoryName scopes every number to that single category; for savings/investment categories (épargne family), the amount put aside/invested each month is that month's savingsOutflow. Same expense semantics as kash_get_monthly_summary: totalExpense excludes savings and internal transfers but includes uncategorized outflows.

kash_get_monthly_series

Aggregate the user's monthly cashflow from Kash: total income, total expenses, savings rate and transaction count. Use this when the user asks for a summary, overview, or KPIs for a SINGLE month. For several months at once (evolution, month-over-month comparisons, 'since January'), call kash_get_monthly_series ONCE with from/to — do NOT chain single-month calls. totalExpense = every outflow EXCEPT savings and internal transfers, and INCLUDES uncategorized outflows (this is the authoritative monthly expense total — do not reconstruct it by summing per-category spend, which drops uncategorized rows). expenseByFamily breaks it down (fixes/variables/loisirs/non_classe); savingsOutflow and transferOutflow are reported separately and are NOT in totalExpense.

kash_get_monthly_summary

List the user's connected bank accounts with current balance, currency, type and connection status. Use this when the user asks 'what accounts do I have', for net-worth summaries, or to discover account ids before calling `kash_list_transactions` with an `accountId` filter.

kash_list_accounts

Return the user's monthly budget (forecast vs. actual) for the requested month. Each budget item exposes the planned amount, actual spent so far, percent used, and a status (`under`, `warning`, `exceeded`). Includes a totals roll-up. Use this for budget compliance checks, end-of-month reviews, or recommendations.

kash_list_budgets

List the user's transaction categories with current-month or specified-month spend totals. Returns category id, name, icon, color, budget type, transaction count, and total spend in the period. Use this to discover categories before filtering with `kash_list_transactions`, or to build top-spending breakdowns. IMPORTANT: transactionCount/totalSpent/totalIncome are scoped to a SINGLE month (default current UTC month; override with `month`) and cover categorized rows only. To list the underlying transactions for a category, call kash_list_transactions with the SAME from/to as that month and read its `aggregate` — never pair a header total from here with rows from an unbounded kash_list_transactions call (different time scopes will disagree). For a COMPLETE monthly expense total (including uncategorized), use kash_get_monthly_summary.totalExpense.

kash_list_categories

List the user's bank transactions in reverse chronological order. Filter by date range (from/to), category name, account, or amount range. Pagination is cursor-based; pass the returned `nextCursor` as `cursor` to fetch the next page. Use this for spending breakdowns, audits, or 'show me my last X' queries. When no from/to is given, results span the user's ENTIRE history. The `aggregate` object reflects the full filtered set, not just the returned page — use `aggregate.count` and `aggregate.total*` for totals/counts instead of summing the `transactions` rows yourself, and never mix a header total from another tool (e.g. kash_list_categories, which is month-scoped) with these rows. For monthly totals, time series or histograms, do NOT page through raw rows — call kash_get_monthly_series instead (one call returns every month, no pagination).
