Get a Control Center alert by ID. Returns the alert's type (e.g. TEACHER_DECLINED_EVENT, EVENT_NO_SHOW), status, priority, linked entity, and — always present, null when unset — triggeredBy, assignedTo, and resolution.

list_sessions

List all sites (organizational units or locations) for the institution. Returns site names, descriptions, and associated user/event counts.

list_sites

List users in your institution with optional pagination and filters. Returns paginated user profiles including name, email, role, and site associations. Scope: results are STRICTLY limited to your own institution. This tool never returns guest users, users belonging to other institutions, or users who are merely associated with your Spaces/sites — only accounts whose institution is yours. The `filterSites` option only narrows within your institution; it cannot widen the scope. Counting: by default this returns ALL institution users across every role (including Students) and does not exclude disabled/archived accounts, so the total can be larger than a staff-only or active-only dashboard view. Use `filterRoles` (e.g. ["Teacher", "InstitutionAdmin"]) to narrow, and read the `total` field of the response for an exact count rather than inferring it from other endpoints (e.g. list_sites).

list_users

RSVP to an event on behalf of a user, with an optional note. Overwrites the user's previous RSVP status for the event. Requires an explicit write opt-in.

rsvp_event

Rename a custom attribute's key (its display name). The new name applies everywhere the attribute is used. Requires an explicit write opt-in.

rename_attribute_key

Save or replace the institution's webhook configuration: the endpoint URL where webhook events are delivered and the signing secret used to verify request authenticity. Overwrites any existing configuration. Requires an explicit write opt-in.

save_webhook_config

Set weekly recurring availability slots for a user. Replaces ALL existing slots with the provided ones. Requires an explicit write opt-in.

set_user_availability

Add new values to a custom attribute and/or rename existing values. Renamed values change everywhere they are used; added values are appended. Requires an explicit write opt-in.

update_attribute_values

Update an existing cohort's name, organizers, or attendees within a program. Provided lists replace the existing ones. Requires an explicit write opt-in.

update_cohort

Update an existing event. Upcoming events accept title, description, customAttributes, attendees, organizers, type, spaceId, and location; past or cancelled events accept only title, description, and customAttributes. Event times cannot be changed through this tool. May notify newly added attendees. Requires an explicit write opt-in.

update_event

Update attendance status for a user in a past event. Sets the user's status to Present, Late, Absent, Left, or Excuse. Requires institution admin permissions and an explicit write opt-in.

update_attendance

Update an existing program's name, description, or date range. Requires an explicit write opt-in.

update_program

Update an existing program cancellation's name or dates. Only allowed for draft or ready-to-publish programs (not published). Providing start without end makes it single-day; end cannot be provided without start. Requires an explicit write opt-in.

update_program_cancellation

Update Space properties such as title and visibility. Use update_space_users to manage the user list. Requires an explicit write opt-in.
