eu_get_target_lobbyists

Reverse of fi_get_organization_clients: given a paying CLIENT (by client_business_id or client_name, fuzzy), list the Finnish lobbying organizations that declared lobbying on its behalf. Returns each representing organization (id + name) with topic/disclosure counts, the date span, and the topics, most active first. Optionally scope to one half-year reporting period with reporting_period_id. Use for "who lobbies for / represents <company>" in the Finnish register.

fi_get_client_representatives

Fetch one lobbied target (a Finnish official or body) by target_key (stable surrogate) or target_name. Returns organization, department/unit, job title, party affiliation, target group/level, and total contact volume. Targets have no official ID, so identity is a normalized surrogate — expect minor name-variant duplication.

fi_get_target

Fetch the full record of one Finnish lobbying disclosure by disclosure_id: the filing organization, reporting period, and activity scope, plus the complete lists of topics declared, targets (officials/bodies) contacted, and communication methods used. The document-level view of a filing. Use after fi_search_contacts (the rows carry disclosure_id).

fi_get_disclosure

Fetch the full profile of one Finnish-registered lobbying organization by organization_id, business_id (Y-tunnus, exact), or name (fuzzy). Returns registration details, primary industry, activity description, classification, a derived lobbying_role (consultancy / in_house / association / unknown, from the registry classification), plus rollups of disclosure, contact, target, and membership activity. Use after fi_search_organizations, or directly when the organization is already known. The result includes source_url — the organization's public avoimuusrekisteri.fi registration page; cite it so users can verify the data.

fi_get_organization

List the paying clients a Finnish lobbying organization has declared lobbying on behalf of, by organization_id, business_id, or name (fuzzy). Optionally scope to one half-year reporting period with reporting_period_id (resolve via fi_list_reporting_periods); omit it for all-time. Returns each client (business_id and name) with the number of topics and disclosures, the date span, and the topics involved, most active first. Use for "who does X lobby for" / paid-representation questions in the Finnish register.

fi_get_organization_clients

A one-call dossier for a Finnish lobbying organization: its base profile counts plus the top-N targets, topics, and paying clients, by organization_id, business_id, or name (fuzzy). top_n caps each sub-list (default 10, max 50 — a per-list cap, NOT pagination; use the dedicated tools for full lists). List the targets (officials/bodies) a Finnish lobbying organization has actually contacted, by organization_id or business_id — the org→target counterpart of fi_get_target_lobbyists. Returns each target deduped to the person/body grain with contact_count, distinct_topics, first/last contact dates, and the topics discussed, most-contacted first. Use for "who does organization X lobby". By default it aggregates across ALL reporting periods; pass reporting_period_id (from fi_list_reporting_periods) to scope to one half-year. Target identity is a normalized surrogate (no stable source id), so expect minor name-variant duplication.

fi_get_gov_project_documents

List the reporting periods (terms) of the Finnish Transparency Register. The year is split into two six-month terms (raportointijakso): Jan–Jun and Jul–Dec. Returns each term_id with its label, abbreviation, start/end dates, ongoing flag, and status. Use this to resolve a half-year to its term_id, then pass that as reporting_period_id to fi_search_contacts or fi_get_organization_targets to scope results to that period. Optional ongoing_only returns just the open term(s).

Search the EU legal corpus — legislation (regulations, directives, decisions), case law (CJEU/General Court judgments and opinions), treaties, and published Commission proposals — sourced from EUR-Lex. Full-text-search-first via query (English), then optionally narrow by document_type, author, subdomain, date range/year, or fetch exact CELEX ids. terse/verbose detail; sort by relevance (default) or date_desc for "recently published". Each record carries source_url (its eur-lex.europa.eu page) plus CELEX for follow-up. Search the EU Transparency Register for registered organizations (companies, consultancies, NGOs, trade bodies) by name, head-office country, or registration category; optionally require a minimum meeting count or filter by role. Search the EU officials and bodies that get lobbied (the meeting hosts): Commissioners, cabinets and Directorates-General on the Commission side; MEPs, political groups and committees on the Parliament side. Reporting periods: the register splits the year into two six-month terms (Jan–Jun, Jul–Dec). To scope by activity period, pass reporting_period_id (resolve a half-year to its term_id via fi_list_reporting_periods). IMPORTANT: the from/to filter is the FILING date (disclosure_date), which lags the activity — Jan–Jun activity is filed Jul–Aug and Jul–Dec activity the following Jan–Feb — so do NOT use from/to to scope by period; use reporting_period_id instead.
