Trademark Dashboard

Use this when the user wants the listed owners, goods/services, status or dates for a particular UK application or US serial number. Reads the source database and distinguishes a missing record from a failed lookup. Does not verify ownership chains or provide a legal opinion.

get_trademark

Use this after search_trademarks when the user would benefit from inspecting results visually. Pass the returned research_reference. Displays the saved search snapshot without rerunning the searches. The reference expires after one hour; run a fresh search if it expires.

show_trademark_workspace

Use this when the user wants to check a brand name against trademark records. Searches UK and US by default; respect an explicitly requested UK-only or US-only scope. Start with one name; optionally search up to three spelling/name variants. Returns bounded indexed evidence, class/status filters, data freshness and a research reference. Creates a temporary server-side research snapshot with a link that expires after one hour; expired snapshots are cleared during later searches. words searches tokens/prefixes; exact matches the whole name; similar explores name variants and is not comprehensive clearance. Use get_trademark for details, or show_trademark_workspace for interactive search results. Page starts at 0. Do not assume these are all potential legal conflicts.

search_trademarks

Use this when the user describes goods/services and wants relevant Nice classes with source terms. Suggestions are classification research, not accepted filing wording or a clearance opinion. Ask the user to confirm the goods/services before using class filters.
