Smart Storage by AVIntelligence turns the files behind your recurring work into a durable, reviewable data layer that Claude can query. Upload files in the Smart Storage web app or save them from Claude; Smart Storage keeps the source files alongside the datasets and records extracted from them, the mappings you approve, and the corrections you confirm. It complements Claude Projects and memory rather than replacing them. With the connector enabled, Claude works from current, source-linked records in your account instead of relying only on chat history or re-reading the same files each session, so a monthly report starts from the same saved definitions every time. What Claude can do • Save files you provide in the conversation into your account and check their processing status. • Inspect files, folders, datasets, records, review status, and the source file behind a value. • Define reusable data selections, field mappings, and dataset relationships, previewed before activation. • Save and re-run reports and dashboard visuals that recompute from current records and disclose scope, coverage, and exclusions. • Generate QuickBooks or Xero import CSV text from eligible stored expense records. Access and limits • Sign-in uses Clerk-powered OAuth, and access is granted at the account level. Folder and file filters narrow individual requests; they are not a security boundary within the account. • Text and spreadsheet files transfer from Claude most reliably; PDFs and photos are best uploaded in the web app. Extraction uses OpenAI and Anthropic APIs. Extracted values can be incomplete or wrong; records that need attention are flagged, and you correct them in the web app. • It does not read Claude chat history or memory. • It is a data and workflow tool, not accounting, tax, legal, or compliance advice. The connector is in a private early rollout and requires a Smart Storage account. A first connection starts a 14-day connector trial; continued access requires Pro.
