Description
Knyte is a shared workspace for thesis and project groups. A group keeps its project in a knyte: the purpose and current focus, the sources (uploaded PDFs, linked Google Docs and Word documents, links and pasted text), marked passages, notes, tasks, milestones and the decisions it has made. With this connector, every member's Claude works from the same material. What Claude can do: - Get a briefing on a knyte: what the group has confirmed, what assistants have contributed, findings no one has confirmed yet, and what members have asked of you. - Read the group's sources page by page, and search them for a phrase, with the page or paragraph to cite. - Format the group's reference list in the style it chose (APA 7, Harvard, Oxford, IEEE, Vancouver or Chicago), with in-text citations. - Read decisions with their reasoning, tasks, milestones, notes and recent activity. - Add notes, tasks, proposed findings and proposed reference details, start a new knyte, and draft a request to another member. Everything Claude adds is marked as an assistant's contribution and attributed to the person who connected it. Findings stay proposals until a person confirms them, and a drafted request reaches no one until the person sends it in Knyte. Claude cannot change the project's purpose, decisions, milestones or anything people wrote, and cannot delete anything. Claude sees only the knyten the signed-in person is a member of. Knyte receives tool calls and their arguments, never the conversation, and does not use content to train AI models. A free Knyte account includes one knyte of your own and two that others started.
