Description
ProFormaEngine lets Claude build and maintain multi-year financial models (pro formas, rate studies, budgets and debt plans) that live in your account rather than in a chat. Describe a model and Claude creates its inputs, line items and plain-text formulas such as revenue[t-1] * (1 + growth), so every number can be traced. It can add tables and charts, model bonds and loans with principal and interest, group and tag line items, and copy a model to try a scenario, then compare the two and show which results changed and why. Every model also appears in the ProFormaEngine web app as a spreadsheet, with formulas, precedents and dependents, and downloads as an Excel workbook in which formulas stay formulas. What Claude can do with the connector: • Read: list models; read values, summaries, tables and charts; compare two models; export a model as JSON • Build and edit: create and copy models; add inputs, line items, formulas, tables, charts and groups; set values, tags, labels, notes and formats • Remove: reset models, clear values, and remove items, tables and charts. Claude asks you to confirm these first, and may leave permanently deleting a model to you in the web app The connector only works on models in your own account.
